From the outside looking in, Pratt, Geary & Johnston seem to have been excellent hires last offseason.

Hopefully we can go to another level with another year of stability under some newer voices.

We’ve also added Ben Reid to the group as Development coach.

Lots of fresh voices over the last 12mths.

Some decent info from match sim yesterday on woof. All members can view it as well. They don't like you copying and pasting, which is fair enough. So go on and have a look.

Something that i've noticed is how slim Lachlan Smith is looking

I know our ruck depth is pretty much locked in but i really hope he gets a chance this year.
He's still raw as hell. I'd expect Gardner to ruck ahead of him in the event of injury this year.

So apparently Jamarra was unsighted at training again yesterday. Let's hope there was an actual legitimate reason or this isn't a recurrence of whatever was happening towards the end of last season.

This rumor has been wrong many times, and people are still recycling it each training week.

Enough with the "apparently". Everyones sources all suck.

This is the direct quote from a regular training watcher. Training on Friday but not on Monday.

"The big talking point was Jamarra being unsighted. He was at the Club on Friday and I spoke with him. He gave no indication that there are any issues, was upbeat and looking terrific. Let's hope there is nothing aside from a modified program, as we need to have that incredible specimen out there for 2025."

Yep precisely this. He's coming along nicely but as a shorter ruck you essentially need to be stronger than an average AFL ruck to be able to push and prod at ruck contests, use body to force the opposition ruck in bad positions etc. He's not there yet.

I would still rather Lobb / Darcy share the ruck 70/30% - 60/40% if English misses a game or two and then play Jones / JOD / Busslinger down back, rather than ruck with Gardy.
