Would be one scary wing prospect…
With the ability to float back or forward and assist in the air. Speed to burn.
He was pretty lost on the wing according to the track watchers though.
I'd love to see him as a CHB.

Please give this a look and give me your opinion. I sent it to the team, and they sent it to the media team, but I just want to get opinions. Don't judge the video, so to speak, it's the first I have ever made, but give your opinion on the concept.

I hate music after goals, but I don't mind what Port does. In this case, it's more about psyching the players up than anything. A great Aussie band, with a great song that would psych me up if I was a player. This would be played right up to the bounce of the ball, and in my mind I see 30,000 - 40,000 supporters screaming this out. This is how we become the 23rd player.

Not exactly unexpected given it was his first hitout for the year and first time playing there other then juniors.
I agree CHB would be the best fit, but given he is going to be a slow burn compared to the talls we've been blessed with recently it doesn't hurt to expose him to multiple positions.

Has Brew resumed training with us or he is still in rehab group?
Is Brew actually on the AFL list? I looked up the Western Bulldogs list site and theee is no mention of him. Same on the draft guru site. I get that it’s Christmas/New Year so maybe updating the lists is a “ first job back”. Just wondering what his number will be.

Not yet, just train-on player at the moment. Would love to see him get a chance though, hopefully his injury was only a niggle and he can push on now

We have a list spot free and there's an expectation that we'll use it on him because he's the only one training with us.

There's just no need to rush to sign him, because we can then sign someone else if (e.g.) Brew had a long-term injury, salary cap implications etc. Provided Brew is himself happy with it, why sign him any earlier than the list rules allow?

Not a fan of AC/DC but could get around it. Have always wanted a song the club could get around.

One song I’d love to see the fans sing pre game would be Dirty Old Town by The Pogues. Would resonate with a lot of our older supporters considering the history of the club and the surrounding suburbs. Parents working in the local meatworks and surrounding industrial warehouses. Most locals growing up with not a lot.

And then the younger brigade because it’s a f***in good song 😂.

Imagine a Marvel Stadium full of dogs fans belting this out…

Anyway, good luck with it all. Hope it works out.

I could get behind that. I'd just love something to pump the boys before the bounce.

Closest was Blicavs at 1.98cm. Nick Cox started wing but was moved back because he wasn't good as a wing.
Adam Tomlinson was absolutely a wingman at times, who was successful as a role player in some of the good GWS teams.

He was more of an athletic utility who had the capability of playing any role over the course of his career, and at at 194cm was not genuine top end key position height. It has worked to an extent though.

We have a 194cm wing on our own list who’s played some good games.

Fair enough, though Poulter clearly plays "shorter" while Tomlinson has played "taller" having rucked and pinched as a key position player at both ends, during his career.

At 1.98cm Blicavs would be the shortest human in history, not a tall winger!

Matthew Richardson at 195cm-197cm (depending on source) in 2008 supposedly played on the wing and won All Australian honours, although I'm not convinced he REALLY played on the wing and this wasn't just a media beat-up with him occasionally pushing up the ground a bit more often and occasionally lining up on the wing for centre bounces to get a favourable matchup before drifting forward again. He still kicked 48 goals in 20 games, only averaged 3 more disposals than his two prior seasons, and his Inside 50s (which you would think would increase a lot on the wing vs CHF) at 2.05 per game that season was almost a career low.
