So easy to forget that Elijah was touted as a number 1 pick before tearing his ACL and being drafted at 7. He's still 21 and could be absolutely anything.

Yep. Cal had him as a top 3 pick throughout the whole year even after he had done the knee. Ultimately had him going #3 to the Roos in his final phantom draft.

Given that he's now showing that level of potential he has to be one of the best bargain buys this decade for our club. Certainly tracking that way anyway.

Moir plays similar to Ollie Henry from Geelong, Moir better both sides by foot, Henry strong in the air, both good above their heads and below their knees, good hands, clever one touch type players who can create/kick a goal from limited space or opportunity…

You love to hear it. It’s time we cement our third/mobile forward which we’ve missed with Martin’s continuous absence. It will take time to build consistency, but I’m all in on him getting extended time in the firsts from the beginning of the season based on the small sample size we saw last season.

The article about TDK said the club didn't even send him for scans on his ankle - they weren't concerned about an injury.

Doubt he'd have been at training on Monday if that were true, also a 'tidy up' wouldn't equate to missing 6-8 games which would effectively be 11-13 weeks out. Would have to be something considerably worse than that to miss that amount of time.

Looked great on Monday morning appeared to be moving freely & was part of the skills session, came off the track when match sim started as did Walshy & JSOS who continued running laps.

Obviously we'd want everyone going full throttle in training at all times, but we don't live in an ideal world.

Charlie is a known quantity at the peak of his powers and will be fine to reintegrate when he's 100% ready.
