Windsor
Petty (if playing back)
Tholstrup
McVee
Bowie
AMW
Turner
Jeffo

JvR - Agree, could have a good one
Windsor - Already shown his wares in 2024, so would have to be a big jump
Petty - I am skeptical
Tholstrupp - No chance missing half the season
McVee - See Windsor
Bowie - 50/50 call for me
AMW - Improvement yes, most improved no (for me).
Turner - Played one good match and got a run for the rest of the season, I am not confident
Jeffo - Hope so but don’t think he will be most improved. Improvement yes but not most improved.
Howes - Skeptical, panics a bit so needs that out of his game.
Brown - Hope he takes small forward role by palm of his hands but Goodie will **** him up and play him as sub or in misc positions

Oh yeh if we mean from 2024 going into 2025 that’s a fair call.
If we are going by 24' form then we have about 10 blokes who can and will improve more than Laurie.

By just pure improvement... JVR, Rivers, Koz, McVee, Windsor, AMW, Howes. Prob throw Turner & Bowey ahead too.

Would have said Chandler and Tholstrup prior to injuries... prob still back them over Laurie.

McAdams if he stays injury free but that's unlikely. Jed Adams if they play him, same for Jeffo.

Reckon 'laser Laurie' might pip billings, sparrow and Hore in the list clogger improvement sweepstakes so he isn't the worst.

Fine, but which of these guys do you see Laurie eclipsing?

Fair enough if people don’t think Laser won’t be most improved player in 2025, but genuinely interested to see who people think our most improved would be
Dogga Brown IMO. Coming off lower expectations of course, but he is absolutely tearing it up in the fitness and effort stakes apparently, and with ANB gone, Windsor to half back, and Kozzy out early there's a real opportunity for him there.

Dogga 100% has the capability to, last pre season he cleaned up as a small forward only for Goodie to not give him a solid run. Will come down to Goodie I think, has the capability though.

I agree with what you are saying, but good sir, Hore is certainly not a list clogger.

I met him briefly.

Still wouldn’t recognise him if I passed him on the street

I agree with most of this.

The bit about the premiership window is a bit confusing

Tldr or however you use that, everyone shits on goody for costing and rightly so. Percentage of that blame since the premiership goes to the players who haven't come in and given 100%
Goodys style has definitely cost us, but it's never gonna work without 100% commitment from the playing group either so in that sense Oliver and like I said not on his own, Smith and the other blokes that weren't taking it seriously are culpable as well

Making tk use big words now

Interesting, thanks for passing on.

I don't know the rules, but with both Kentfield and Tholstrup out for an extended period, can they be added to the LTI now opening up a couple of list spots? I don't think we have an open spot as things stand.
I'm not even sure if he's on our rookie list or not. I don't think we can just plonk him on our list if we have injuries. I honestly have lost track on how that all works, but I know he showed huge promise early days at WCE and the fans were bummed to see him cut as his injuries were pretty bad. But by all reports he's moving well and showing signs he could actually make it back to senior footy. Still young and im sure if there's a spot midseason and he's playing well that we'll grab him. I vaguely remember him kicking 4 or 5 goals against Port 1 game a few years ago.

Surely Oliver and Petty will be most improved. They are coming from a low base.

As far as the younger players, hoping for Adams and Jeffe, but more likely JVR or Windsor.

I think it is fine to have an opinion, but it starts to get a bit silly when you're doing the same thing you did to Windsor last year danster168 and being extremely critical, but you then pump up absolute hacks like Tom Sparrow.
I'm super hyped on Lindsay though :) But yeah, I don't want to go backwards and forwards on this. I want to be on good behaviour. I respect what you're saying re: Windsor. He had a good first season.

I've had my moments liking him as an intercept defender in the team but man that last game of the year was an all-time stinker by him... It gave me Tom Gillies against Bombers vibes... I might be overreacting to one bad game in a pretty bad season for the whole club though.

I literally don't even remember who we played

Neither could I. It’s bizarre.

I had to look it up. We were apparently thumped by Collingwood. We scored all of 53 beautiful points.

The week before we apparently thumped GC and I don’t remember that either

Not gonna lie. That still doesn't trigger anything. Probably cause I'm just cooked at this stage of me life or they really did bore me to the stage of disassociation
