Yeah that’s a sexy pick.Rate the Ed Richards pick too
Another year of growth plus a full pre-season training in the middle for a player who scored alright in the middle last season despite their midfield a shambles without Petracca and Oliver. Why all the Rivers Love? Am I missing something.
Cheers, thanks for filling me in.Another year of growth plus a full pre-season training in the middle for a player who scored alright in the middle last season despite their midfield a shambles without Petracca and Oliver.
Personally a bit too pricey with all the question marks but I get the logic.
selecting the flex player is just as important as the other 22.
Just think of it as picking 23 and your flex is a on field player.
Can almost guarantee your flex will be in your best 22 every week.
Smilie is a lock. Lalor and Trainor are near certainties IMO. McAuliffe might be a chance too.Which of the Tigers kids play Round 1? Any intel from Tigers fans.
Doesn’t matter what position you put in the flex in theory your flex covers every line regardless of his position.I think your flex should cover at least 2 lines at the start of the season, unless you really love the value of 4 rucks (and I mean value, not because you think they'll score the most). So TDK, Conway, Flynn, Boyd if they're all #1 rucks would be a very viable use of flex. Then it'll move into getting in the best value player for your structure, be it a fallen premium or cash cow that would overflow a line. Then it's the best player you can get; but only once upgrading has finished.

I think the ruck is prefaced by the fact that you typically can't justify covering the ruckline in the classic version with your R3. Flex is the perfect opportunity to provide playing premium ruck coverage.Doesn’t matter what position you put in the flex in theory your flex covers every line regardless of his position.
I just wonder if we are jumping at shadows a touch with the flex. For me the flex will be more important at the back end of the season than the start.selecting the flex player is just as important as the other 22.

And don't rucks score best early in the season ?I think the ruck is prefaced by the fact that you typically can't justify covering the ruckline in the classic version with your R3. Flex is the perfect opportunity to provide playing premium ruck coverage.
I would say more went ballistic at the end... Xerri, Marshall, TDK, Meek, etc.And don't rucks score best early in the season ?
Agreed, definitely some over-thinking going on. The Flex position helps you dodge an injury/sub score. So put your "safest" player there and carry on imo. Especially after a few weeks when we have dead rookies/bye players that can be used to loop the rookies.I just wonder if we are jumping at shadows a touch with the flex. All the best 18 rounds at the start allow us to dump multiple scores already (pending players with bye).
Bont is as close to bullet-proof as you can get in SC.
That's what I've got mate.
