I don't have easy access to stats before 2011.

You could be right, but you're basically saying that Butters and Daicos will be the best 2 players in Supercoach in 2025, with the small caveat if you prefer aggregate over average, and reckon 120 over 23 games beats 125 over 22 games, or if you think the average split will be lower at the start of the season (Say 115 over the first 8 weeks then
130ish for the rest of the season
).

Without those caveats, you're basically picking Butters and Daicos M1 and M2 right now.

First crack at it this year, pretty similar to a lot of other teams posted.

  • keen to run with Trac & Oliver at their starting prices if travelling well heading into r1.
  • Will Ashcroft I’m not sure has run games out well enough to be selected so far, but the Grand Final might just be his coming out party, he was phenomenal in that game. A few options in this price range though.
  • will start a ruck in the flex position, whether that Flynn or a big dog!
  • Tried leaving out Bont, agree there is no value, but it’s Bont, team feels light without him.
  • No idea how Pedlar is tracking, and his mid minutes are probably goneski with Peatling coming in and Rankine, Soligo, etc needing more time in there, but I do rate him. More than likely won’t last in the team.
  • Xerri & TDK like most, not sure who the other options are. Meek bye issue, Gawn has to slow down at some point, and had English last year…that was a brutal watch at times.

My humble opinion - Looks good except for the DPP switching ability (this far out)

Forget the cyclist mate at least early on , currently off track injured and will find it hard this year.

Relatively happy with this effort. Fit a few PODs in there and im confident in almost every player ive selected being undervalued. Will take a lot of will power to not make several upgrades prior to round 1 but if i can leave 500k+ in the bank and still be happy with my team, ill have reached my goal.

That team either wins or you have deleted the SC app by round 4

I do like the idea of leaving a lot of change in the bank, but I think you've got a few issues. Don't think Ginbey presents much value; if you're looking to gamble on someone from West Coast playing in defence then Ryan Maric (F/M $223, 800) seems to be a better option. Don't see Brodie doing anything this year either. I can see Rivers and Weddle both being undervalue but are either getting to that 100+ level?

I can't see Rivers and Weddle being anywhere near Top 10 scoring defenders. Who gets the Barrass role now is it Maric?
