Ahhh. Must have had a filter on. Cheapest DEF I could see was 119k.

They shouldn’t have adjusted for the flex role IMO and just left it as was.

Need Scythe94 to sell Rivers to me again.

Two seasons in the mid 80’s.

Where’s the improvement coming from? More mid time? Will he be a top 10 defender?

Not convinced. Spent a fair bit of time through the midfield last year as it was. Gun, absolutely, but a bonefide MID, doubtful. Kossie one year older and has the tank now, spent the summer training with midfield group. Windsor will go in there as well this year. Kolt was blooded early and earmarked in and under MID. Plus two top 10 draft picks spent on midfielders.

Clarry, Trac and Viney ain’t playing anywhere else. That’s a lot cycling through.

No offence to Scythe94 who's a gun at SC, but sometimes it's best to ignore posters on the teams they support as they can be too optimistic about their own players.

Agree. Exception is rookies or bonefide premos.

Mills at D4 makes me feel a bit more comfortable.

I’m hesitant on Mills. But for that price, down back, can’t see him losing money.

Early prediction - Philipou will be the player "everyone" says to pick and "everyone" gets the blame for Jiska picking/not picking him.

Berry is locked and loaded when I eventually get around to doing my team. He has no competition for the small forward role apart from Rioli and both of them can play in the same team.

Moraes has impressed a lot of people with his work ethic and willingness to get involved. Port have had to hold him back for his own good from certain parts of training in the lead up to the XMAS break. Not sure he will make the round one team as SPP will hopefully be back by then.

Sinn will be given first opportunity to replace Houston on the back flank.

The one to look out for is for Lorenz. Not sure what his price is for 2025? Hinkley made a fatal mistake last year by not giving him more games ahead of spuds like Evans, Narkle and McEntee.

Yep, I haven't taken Sheezel .....will he be top 2 in Defenders, yes .....but I don't think he'll take the game away from me, particularly if I use the savings elsewhere

I agree, surely teams will put more effort into Sheezel, with NORTH on the rise

There aren't that many good defender options if you take out those that have the early bye.
Sheezel will get DPP in Round 6 as well.

I'm also wary of all the R12 Bye players ....Bont, JHF, Butters, Xerri, T. De Koning, Caleb Daniel ect

I like the Will Day pick.

If not for my want of minimal round 0 players I’d probably be starting him.

Had a block of 10 games last season that netted an average of 114 which is quite impressive.

Correct.....I have 4xR12 atm...5xR13...2xR14 and 1ea Rd15,16.....looking to up the ante on 14 15 16 come update time
