If this isn't bait – it depends on what you're wanting from the pick. If it's a stepping stone, probably Soligo. Simpkin being forward-eligible helps from a potential keeper perspective, but not sure if the role is good enough (30 and 26% CBAs so far).

Not bait mate, thanks for the insights. I need a last minute score spike to save me from embarrassment. Not much to choose from apart from those. With all the carnage Hewett ended up at flex and I've got 300k to spend. Might go Soligo as Roos will focus more on Dawson/Rankine. Sorry I got a bit carried away before.

All good mate! Sorry, I was probably a bit blunt too. Soligo's a decent shout – worst case scenario, makes a bit of cash and is a stepping stone to one of the big dogs later.

Nope. You haven’t factored in Byes there. Use total points instead of average.

That approach doesn't make any sense until the round ends,

Besides, if you had that "dream team", it'd be best 18 during the byes, and you would have still killed it.

Only round it would have hurt a little was 2, with Humphrey, Whitfield, and Rowell out.

But you could still get a best 18 that would have tonned on average then.
