Edit : he wanted to leave Geelong but wasn't sure if it would happen. That was known for a while....I only knew the night before. He actually was in Japan and caught a flight back specifically because of the announcement.

Librans have trouble making decisions...Caddy and Prestia are both Librans. Lateral-thinking leaders.
No, we consider all options. You want a slam-it-on-the-boot guy, draft an Aries.Librans have trouble making decisions...
By the time a Librian considers all options the game would be over..No, we consider all options. You want a slam-it-on-the-boot guy, draft an Aries.

No not angry...they just know how to hurt you...Needs more Scorpio angry lot they are.
The kind of bizarre behaviour that makes you think they have a Scott in charge. This off season makes me wonder about the Cats. Some very strange goings on. Like they are panicked about salary cap or something is wrong in the playing group.
His sit down /1 on 1 club interview is pretty good too. Speaks well, could be an auto inclusion into the leadership group.
Just watched his presser, trade radio interview and highlights packages again on the website.
We've got a good one here.
Strap yourselves in.

Finally we get 2 midfielders who aren't afraid to tackle their opponents.
Great point. I always though Cotch tackled...until i checked the 2016 averages...jesus. He leads the team but ranked in the 70's. Thats real poor.
If Vickery starts wearing one and kicks 60 goals I'll spew.We can deal with the headband especially after we had Vickery - look at his hairstyle.
Exactly. Remember having it explained to me a few years ago when I whinged about our lack of tackle that corralling was best because we didn't commit and therefore kept our player in play.I don't think any of the players would be scared of tackling.
Nearly all our players corral when front on instead of tackling front on, suggests that they are coached that way. Hopefully that changes next year, as sides would know that when they play us, they will have extra time to dispose of the ball.
To win with that style you almost need a team of Rance's who can intercept. Otherwise as you say with the extra time the opposition carve us up.Exactly. As it is that was a load of crap. Sides just slice through. Who's afraid of a bloody scarecrow. Protecting the space? With what, if the worst you can expect is some flappy arms? As for us having a player in play - nah. Thought they had done their bit being a windmill.
I understand the whole zone thing and protecting space was the go at the time but for me it was one of those 'The Emperor is wearing no clothes' situations. That's just how I saw it back then.
Credit to the Dogs even back in McCartney's time for spotting that.
