By the time a Librian considers all options the game would be over..
Richmond Librans: Rance, CEllis, Prestia, Caddy.

At other clubs: Docherty, Cooney, Zach Merrett, Tory Dickson, Vince, Bennell, Barrass, Yeo, Greene, Burgoyne, Gunston, Sam Mitchell, Wines, NRiewoldt, Callum Ah Chee.

Class, leadership, toughness, finishing skills. The lot.

:p

Just watched his presser, trade radio interview and highlights packages again on the website.
We've got a good one here.
Strap yourselves in.

His sit down /1 on 1 club interview is pretty good too. Speaks well, could be an auto inclusion into the leadership group.

Auto-inclusion to my top three fav players without even pulling on the jumper yet.

Yes, this guy is very impressive. We are very fortunate to have him in our team

Josh Caddy and Dion Prestia were in the cupboard making babies and one of them looked at Trent Cotchin and he said "I am jealous that Caddy gets to carry you"

Great point. I always though Cotch tackled...until i checked the 2016 averages...jesus. He leads the team but ranked in the 70's. Thats real poor.

I don't think any of the players would be scared of tackling.
Nearly all our players corral when front on instead of tackling front on, suggests that they are coached that way. Hopefully that changes next year, as sides would know that when they play us, they will have extra time to dispose of the ball.

Exactly. Remember having it explained to me a few years ago when I whinged about our lack of tackle that corralling was best because we didn't commit and therefore kept our player in play.

As it is that was a load of crap. Sides just slice through. Who's afraid of a bloody scarecrow. Protecting the space? With what, if the worst you can expect is some flappy arms? As for us having a player in play - nah. Thought they had done their bit being a windmill.

I understand the whole zone thing and protecting space was the go at the time but for me it was one of those 'The Emperor is wearing no clothes' situations. That's just how I saw it back then.

Credit to the Dogs even back in McCartney's time for spotting that.

To win with that style you almost need a team of Rance's who can intercept. Otherwise as you say with the extra time the opposition carve us up.
