Very disappointing that he has chosen *essendon, but not disappointed that *essendon have chosen him. It is a terrible message they are sending to Draper and Bryan and surely they are not in the frame to win a flag for a few years yet.

"Yeah we are bringing in a 36 year old to compete for your ruck spot".

That's not having a go at Goldy and his ability to play on, but a club in the rebuilding phase, not much ahead of us and with a talented ruckman in Draper as their first choice, plus a recently re-signed back up in Bryan, recruiting Goldy is surely not the way they should be going.
