Welcome to the club Bowman!

Great athletic traits from the highlight videos and after reading a few reviews.

Hope to see you absolutely star for the greatest club in the land.

(Ignore those in the drafting thread and go prove them all wrong).

His draft profile reads a bit like the draft profile of a previous surprising Swans draft pick that captains the Crows now and I can now understand why everyone is so upset. There's some wounds time can't heal.

Anyway, I think he could be a very useful player for us if he's good enough based on what I've read of his attributes.

Welcome, young man. You have now reached a level that very few in this country ever do, and to top it off, you are at one of the best clubs for your career and your future. Grab a hold of it and don't let go, and then we can enjoy calling you "ours" for many years to come.

Oh boy, I hope you're right!

Welcome ned

Low production, skinny outside player with a high ceiling. 🤞 Fills a need if he works out in the front half. Also will hopefully provide some competition for Dattoli down the track. His stats might be dampened by the fact that he was not playing in a strong team. He reminds me a little of Will Hayward except Hayward was more of a slider than a bolter in his draft year.

And Kevin Sheehan said this:

Ned Bowman
State: South Australia
State League Club: Norwood
Community Club: Orroroo
Date of Birth: 12/09/2006
Height: 186cm

An emerging versatile player who really began to attract interest after he held an amazing mark earlier in the year during an under-18s game for Norwood. The grab highlighted his natural leap and aerial prowess. Showed slices of talent across four matches for South Australia during the National Championships, including three goals against Western Australia to be among his team’s best. Mixed his football between St Peters College and Norwood in the SANFL U18 competition, playing ten matches for the Redlegs where he averaged 12 disposals and kicked 18 goals. Tested impressively at the Draft Combine with his 3.00 seconds on the 20m sprint and 6:35 for the 2km time trial showing a good combination of speed and endurance.

I had no idea what he looked like but knew he would be a red head. Welcome to the Swans young man, lets hope you're one of the greatest draft bolters of all time ;)

Hayward was a bolter
