His debut 1/4 was an anomaly. The slop he served up was his true form. 2024 2 games each with 1 solitary effective disposal and subbed out both times. Suburban rate footballer who was blessed that Matty Clarke liked taking blokes for reasons only obvious to himself. Should've been delisted after Mad Monday so the kid could figure out his next move sooner. No loss.

Rather he got another year than Dow or Colina seriously all 4 should’ve been punted if iNatty and Cumbo got the arse.
Dow seriouxly is the herpes on the RFC list just cannot be rid of him.

5 years and he is still no good, has nothing about his game that makes him deserve 6 years a s midfielder but thats my opinion.

Shame he didn't make it. We could really do with a pacy, quick thinking small forward who knows where the big sticks are. Suppose it's a position you would rather try 5 guys each for 1 year to see if they can play rather than investing 5 years in 1 guy hoping he makes it.

Got no doubt he’s a pro in his prep and training but you have to be good at footy and he is not

I’ve not seen a single game at senior level that he’s dominated. At this point you’d think there would be one

Guessing u didn’t watch much VFL. Unfortunately he was barely VFL standard.

Matt definitely dropped off his intensity I think he knew he was done as soon as he was dropped after being subbed.

Never fired a shot after dropped his head. That said his season start wasn't flash either.

My main point was that Dow aint any good either but he's been gifted 5 now 6 years and a near full season of games which he didn't deserve either.

And still hasn't improved.

Dow got his full AFL season based on the other mids being out.

Dow often was the main man. He is not that sort of player. he is the 2nd/3rd rotation depth mid who fills the hole well enough that our midfield still functions.
