So a club that has the first hand, raw experience of recruiting Jesse White, wants to now recruit Tyrone Vickery on a big money contract?

So they want to line up with a 3 tall forward line consisting of both Jesse White AND Tyrone Vickery???

Sure you can have him, and we'll take Brodie Grundy off your hands in return thanks. And while we're at it, we'll also jump in and grab Adam Treloar too, while you put your money into Vickery!

I reckon White is goneski he is a spud of the highest order. They are also idiots for not trading Cloke when they had the chance

He s contracted until end of 2016 . FA next year so collingwood would need to tempt us good

The woobles trying to play little games.
They want Treloar, Tyrone is the next player to come out of contract of note. We pay or hold onto more for Tyrone, we have less to offer Treloar.
Fathead and co , obviously doesn't realise Dan Richardson has seen more than his share of smoke and mirrors.

Ty is a very important player for us given the likelihood of reduced rotations in the future. No doubt many clubs will be asking the question. Regardless of what people think he is one of the better forward/rucks in the comp. He was in good from before getting himself rubbed out a few weeks back. Only have to look at what the swans paid tippet to see how highly rated these types are in the industry.

Having said that, if Collingwood or another club want to offer us overs and we have faith in Griff and McBean filling the second 2nd and 3rd tall forward spots we'd be stupid not to consider it.

Yep, this is not the year to invest in the draft unless its a Top 2 pick, maybe Top 5
 
If tippet is worth 800k a year , Ty isn't worth much less.

200 cm mobile ruck forwards that kick goals are the rarest commodity in afl football , Ty can play both of the hardest positions on the ground .

He is just too valuable to trade unless the offer is ridiculous . Like really really ridiculous

Take the beams trade as a blueprint and ask for a young player they would rather keep, Scharenburg has been floated, we were into Freeman in his draft year may even be worth having a look at Mason Cox. Definitely wouldn't want the kinda spuds Collingwood posters will float like, Fasolo, Williams, Sinclair, Reid etc.

Let's just hope the Pies keep losing so their 1st round pick gets better and better.
Even if we don't hold on to it, it would get us more currency for other trades

White is a spud but he is averaging 1.4 goals a game while Vickery (who is apparently worth our 1st round pick +more) is averaing 1.5 goals a game.

White has also spent more time in the ruck than Vickery, so their output is virtually identical, White is probably even slightly ahead.
