We are missing Parish badly at the minute and very frustrating to hear of another 'set back' for our injury rehab programs.

It may be low hanging fruit but it is no secret that we have been very poor in this area in for a long time.. consistently long injury lists, long recovery times, multiple reinjuries, soft tissue injuries, poor fade outs in both games and seasons.

Something is seriously wrong with how we manage the physical conditioning of our players.

Yes we're going to replace a leg with an arm.

Glad you guys aren't on the cybernetics team.
replacing an arm with a leg sounds expensive - like it might cost… an arm an a leg

…..We manage the physical condition of our players? 🤔 I thought that was just for them big and famous successful clubs….

Finger nail deep analysis there though.

We have gotten pantsed at general stoppages 4 of the last 5 games (3 of those against the 3 worst teams in the comp) and belted at centre clearances against Norf, West Coast and Richmond.

We are winning because of our general contested possession game (outside stoppage CP) and transition scoring, not because our midfield is going gangbusters at clearance. Parish is sorely missed in that regard.

Exactly this. Our midfield might put up decent numbers individually but our stoppage work has been shocking since Parish has gone out. Lost the clearances 35-44 on the weekend to a team missing three of it's best inside mids.
