After watching Charlied VERY closely at the draft camp I am SOOOOOOOOO stoked we got him. This kid can run, and run and run, jump, mark and kick. Very happy with SOSs efforts.

So thankful Richmond never offered Pick 12 for Yarran. As we would not have traded Pick 20 and 21 for Pick 11. Meaning Curnow would have been at the Dogs right now.
Instead we have one of the best players in the draft and they can cross their fingers on Rioli

Getting Curnow here has taken our pre season from great to exceptional Imo. Seen as top 5 after the combine, getting him at 12 is fan*@/@#$&tactic. Just pull your head in, put in the hard yards and the world is your oyster
Think you will find this was more strategic drafting than pure ranking. If we didn't have #11, and a Victorian team had #9, then I think we would have taken Curnow with our 2nd pick. Adelaide would have been more likely to take McKay over Curnow.

Very exciting prospect and can't believe we got him with pick #11.
Let's hope he's learned from his stupidity the other night otherwise he could turn out to be a Fevola 2.0.

Would have taken Curnow at #8 if we didnt have #11 surely, only took McKay first to stop Adelaide taking him and get the doubleSo considering we offered pick 11 to GWS for Tomlinson........
When do the Tomlinson vs Curnow comparisons start...
Besides, GWS turned it down, not us, so you cant blame us or the kid.

There was some sarcasm with my post and it has worked outin our favor as I much prefer Curnow
More than happy to welcome Tomlinson to our club in next years trade period though

Am I over doing it by suggesting Curnow 'could' be the best forward to come from this draft?
