This was his year when he either flicked the switch like most rucks do and show they're capable or not

He somehow went backwards. Concerning as hell, the only thing I can hold onto is that he's different at training and shows some capability. But his game sense is off, bereft of confidence and he can't mark. Huge pre season coming up for him
 
After Nank he’s the only viable ruckman left on the list. Three years on minimum chips makes sense just to ensure coverage

If the club doesn’t think he’s up to it to be the number one they’ll wait till Nank retires and go on the hunt to trade in a new number one but that won’t be for three years

Second rucks who have kept a spot on an AFL list despite not being quite AFL level is nothing new

Players like this are bad for your culture as they show standards are low. He’s not quite VFL level atm and nowhere near AFL standard. Samson makes us look like easy beats and sends a toxic message throughout the whole club .

If you had a kid who was 200cm, you’d have to see if he enjoyed footy. Easy money for a lot of backup rucks that can’t play.

That's where the similarities end Darcy has speed and can mark. Our Ryan is so bad he can't even win tap outs. Some people have hope. He is like constipation you take crap too get it out but nothing seems to work but you still have hope eventually it comes out like a bomb.
