A Tadpole?SOMEONE PUT UP A POLL
Flash was his uncle's nicknameHe is already Flash in my house. Basically from when he kicked a goal in the first minute of the practice match against the Saints, the commentators said "Quick as a flash" when he crumbed the ball and snapped it through.
And to be pedantic, a baby Frog is a froglet. Tadpole comes before that. Could have called him Tadpole as a junior and now Froglet but I think that leaf has sailed. C'mon, Flash sounds so much better.
Seems like he is going to be a great player although that is obviously secondary to his nickname.
Tadpole just indicates that his dad is Froggy. It's not like he's going to suddenly be called Frog once he hits 100 games or somethingAnd to be pedantic, a baby Frog is a froglet. Why don’t we call him Al? As in Alwyn, but without the ‘Wyn’ bit. You could call him Wyn, without the ‘Al’ bit but that’s a bit longer and becomes a mouthful to be honest.
Beat me to it!!!
Well we don’t do much “wynning” so this fits. Also if we could get him and Peter Wright doing this that’d be greatBeat me to it!!!
So the club is doing the official what-do-we-name-him poll? This is apparently a member exclusive or something so idk if it will open for everyone but![]()

It's a spy cam video of Alwyn senior at the game, watching him react to Alwyn junior's attempts at goal and then his first goal. Taken from what seems to be across the aisle with full sound and everything, can hear what they're saying. So the club is doing the official what-do-we-name-him poll?
Yeah but I’d expect parents to call the kids mostly by their names unless they have a childhood nickname (Walla, Bomber etc)It's a spy cam video of Alwyn senior at the game, watching him react to Alwyn junior's attempts at goal and then his first goal. As far as the club is concerned they seem to be calling both boys by their first names which is... utterly boring
I meant the players and the club media staff, I don’t think Froggy used a name at allYeah but I’d expect parents to call the kids mostly by their names unless they have a childhood nickname (Walla, Bomber etc)
