No club does this
Bullshit.
And you can disagree all you want . I do not care which second level club you played for or which ex coach you think is giving you good intell.

Clubs certainly do keep playing to win until it is actually over .
Clubs even push hard to finish the season well when they can not play finals .
The ones that do not spend years at the bottom end with piss poor culture.

This rates as one of the dumbest things you have posted .

Dont ever complain about who we draft and dont draft then with hindsight
Did that theory work for Carlton or Melbourne when they had multiple first round picks ?

Not really fazed with team personally. You always want changes when your not winning but think we have a good balance of current best and developing players. Davey isn't up to it but you wear that because he will be one day. Until then Snelling is decent. Tex is injured so makes sense. Baldwin still learning new positions no, plus if we get McKay next year he's likely not best 22. Setterfeild probably not ready.

Nobody was bothered just a few weeks ago after the crows game. Thus was never our year. Plenty of guys have improved but we have no depth so makes sense few changes each week imo

Baldwin and Voss are the obvious two.

Melbourne did win a premiership
however smart drafting and trading was probably more a factor in their success than tanking
not sure we are any good at any three of these things:'(

Was talking Melbourne when they drafted Scully and Watts and Morton and Trengrove who where all top 5 picks within a 4 year period and followed by Toumpas in the top a a few years after that. The period of time they tanked for picks. The build under Roos / Taylor / Mahoney / Goodwin was different.
