I thought it was mentioned in his presser that he would tell his story in his own time.
I'm helping her through it.
I'm hanging out for Goddard's movie.
Spoiler alert. Premiership coach won't be Hird unless it's his illegitimate son.
Not sure if I heard this right, but is he going to write a book?
With all the media attention he's had recently, I would have thought he'd want some quiet time.
There was a segment on the 7:30 report tonight about Hird's sacking, they interviewed Tanya and sure enough, a clip of a couple of seconds with her looking through her notes.Just lift Tania's notes and put them into a book form.
Voila.
To make it worse for them, they may have jumped the gun on this too. If CAS finds the players guilty, they could have very well just sacked him then without any payout. If rumours are to be believed though, the payout is significantly more than $700,000. Hird knows where the skeletons are buried, so a little hush hush money wouldn't be at all too surprising.Oh happy day. Finally he is gone, but as usual, on his own terms, with the club again agreeing to pay him to do nothing.
Without doubt, the EFC board, is the most insipid, most incompetent administration in the history of elite sport. How could they get it so wrong & at such a high cost?
The audacity of the man to make it seem like a final act of honour, when the reality is he dragged the club through an absolute mire, in the name of his own glorification & then brought the club to its knees, setting it back several years. How one person could do so much damage to a club he supposedly loves, defies all logic.
The game will be the better for this person's departure.

Thats it really... Essendon* have jumped the gun and should have waited until the end of their review (and the WADA appeal at CAS) and if a significant number of players end up getting banned, they could have terminated his contract with cause and even successfully sued him for his 2014 salary and the cost of his business course in France (glorified holiday for him and the kids). To make it worse for them, they may have jumped the gun on this too. They got it so wrong. Hird should have gone and Bomber should have been retained. They should have sacked him 12 months ago but didn't have the balls. Hopefully their circus of a board survives to keep entertaining us!
"his own time", just like his "resignation".I thought it was mentioned in his presser that he would tell his story in his own time.
