Dare say at least 5 of Smith, Banks, HRS, Ross, Clarke, MRJ, Campbell, Sonsie, Fawcett and Green won’t be on our list in 2029.
Would be a great effort to have 5 of this group make another 5 seasons.

Great team, you have Lalor, Sharp, Hotton and Smillie all onball. I would switch Hotton to HFF and Alger to the bench.
The balance to the team is good, I’m guessing you’ve got Fawcett as the back up ruck? If Smillie, Lalor, Hotton, Sharp and Rodriguez can become our top liners and stars our forwards would flourish with great marking and leading forwards with pressure and dangerous smalls that can get up the ground. Deference would be great in the air and intercepts, only thing I think we lack in this team is a fast line breaking 70/80meter player like Rioli was this year.
What it does show is that the draft and free agency periods for 2026/27/28 are important pre Tasmania. How great would it be if we were able to convince Andrew Walkers son to pick us over Carlton and team him up with Tanner Armstrong in 2026 and then also get another first rounder

we were able to convince Andrew Walkers son to pick us over Carlton - We will have a high enough pick to trouble Carlton in matching and would even let Walker know that we have extra $$$ on his contract extension if he was to knock back the FS option. But even if he doesnt still bid
Fawcett and Balta should be enough to give Sims a rest in the Ruck
