WAFL was a good comp back prior to AFL formation. Every club in the VFL was fighting to sign Rioli senior. MRJ is no comparison. Fringe player at the moment and will need to improve dramatically to remain on the list. Description for both start with 'S', senior = Star, junior = Spud.
MRJ is on the list and will get his chance but his possessions would need to double and impact triple before he'd be in the same class as Senior.
Nobody is saying jnr is a star but he is only 22 years old
Shane Edwards was not setting the world on fire at 22 years old and alot wanted him delisted also

armstrong will be better than maurice snr and jnr combined. can't imagine that weird siamese monstrosity would be any good at footy at all tbh.

Faull reminds me more of your junkyard dog (doesn’t mind getting his hands dirty) I think these two have the potential to be great compliments to eachother. But time will tell us I guess?

With Armstrong on our list I wonder if we can get Mathew Lloyd to help mentor/coach some of our forwards to become better set shots at goal? Why not right? Accurate kicking can get you over the line in close games

I've been thinking about Armstrong a bit recently. Seems the sort who, in a good team, can be a total weapon. mark, kick, goal. With some footy smarts thrown in. If our midfield does turn out good then he might jsut be that player who turns us form good to very good. Nice pick, thanks other clubs.

Yeap no arguing there but if I had my time again I wish he never came totally destroyed the playing list we won nothing and took us 37 years to come good. That was crazy MONEY THROWN for that time our star players coming of that great flag were peed off and the story ended. Again he was a super star but at the wrong time.
