Everything I've read about him suggests he's not ready for the senior level yet. Obviously I hope he goes well but I think, without being a fly on the wall within the club, that there's a fair chance this will go down as another example of North's trademark poor player management
He gets 4 touches he is on par with kayno, he kicks a goal he passes mahony. Thats how low the bar is atm...

Bits and pieces I have seen of him look just average but his old man had the greatest case of whiteline fever ever for an AFL player. Hope that the ones bring out the best in Jackson - good luck!!!!!!!

Nobody on this board seems to rate him, so I hope he proves all doubters wrong this weekend. The club certainly seems impressed by his repeat efforts, I hope he brings that fighting Archer spirit to the game, lord knows we need the inspiration.
Haven't seen 2 mins of him play. Same as you, I hope he does his job, makes his team mates lives easier and shows glimpses that he might yet be a bargain.

this is not a kid of Gavin Brown.. this is Archers kid.. This is Glenns boy, wow! What a moment for the club and our supporters.. lets be honest, he is not going to gather 25 of half back and put it down throats. He’ll hitbhard and be a competitor, as a raw 18 year old of he walks off 40/60.. thats enough son.

**** stoked for Jacko and that was an unreal video from Glenn. This is the first time nmfc have made me feel genuinely old

oh, and a hearty **** you to every disgraceful campaigner that said that he was only on the list because of who his old man is, and went on about favours and yada yada. seriously, you know who you are - none of you campaigners deserve to celebrate this moment one iota

Agreed, I'm just more pointing out that he isn't knocking the door down.

Up until the previous game, he wasn't all that different to being a VFL version of Turner.

He essentially is a Turner.

He has been asked to play lockdown roles all year in the back line.

He’s not going to get many possessions but he’s been recognised so he must have effective in the jobs he’s been given.
