My first impressions were

*A wing/half back with potential to play inside mid.
*Not super quick over short distances, but good endurance runner, tall and the frame to put on size as he gets older
*Does not seem to be a notable field kick. But can win possessions at the contests and is comfortable handballing in congestion
* Maybe he will end up being more of a half back flanker or defensive minded winger

Beatson is still list manager, if he thinks Mitchell is developing we'd be insane not to extend him

I think he manages list strategy (future) and recruitment but isn't invloved with the actual contracting and decisions on current players.
