Context.

Kingsley was the number one target/key forward. And it
Was in an era
That sides kicked bigger scores typically. A better comparison would be to Compare what Hawkins has kicked in 6 seasons.
higher scoring? kingsley played during the flood zone era of the early to mid 2000s. he was also forced to play out of position as the key forward when he was clearly better suited to the third forward role. Nonetheless he gave a couple of highly regarded defenders such as Dustin Fletcher a spanking more than once.

If it wasnt for Thompson banging his gf and injury problems in 2006 he would of kicked 50-60 goals out of a pocket in 2007, probably have an all australian and a premiership. Most underrated Geelong player of the past twenty years.

Q: Why did Geelong boot Ruggles?

A: Because he can't kick a ball to any player wearing a Geelong jumper, but instead kicked it to anyone who wasn't.

I nicknamed him "The Butcher" because that is what he did to the ball when he kicked it. He's no loss.

Q: Why are people anti-Crameri?

A: Because he suffers from something which is considered a terrible affliction in the AFL today. It is called "Age".

You see, this affliction makes AFL clubs and its fans not want players who have proven themselves and shown, again and again, that they can deliver when it counts, and instead, clubs and fans would rather roll the dice on no-names who have no proven form, but he was a star in local football, so he will be a superstar in AFL guaranteed. And the best part, he is 18, so he has 12 years of football (unless the raps on him are wrong, and he spuds up the place and is delisted, never to be heard of again after 2 years).

This affliction makes Geelong fans want a player with sexual and gambling problems (Jake Stringer) because he is 23, yet not want a proven 2 time Brownlow Medallist, multiple AA, MVP and B&F winner, and 2 time premiership player, and once the best player in the league (Gary Ablett), because he was born ten years earlier.

In short, if Stewart Crameri was a first year player, with tremendous raps on him, Cats fans would be jizzing their pants over him instead of dismissing him. But he is too close to thirty, so he may not be around for a flag in five years time.
crameri is five years younger than ablett.

Also, other goss is that Mackie was dropped in 2010 or 2011 for flirting with the former KK gf + the current (at that time) gf of Bomber.

Also, here is something for Mark Thompson defenders to consider.

Apparently, Mackie was so upset with Bomber dropping him for finals, that he apparently considered asking for a trade out of Geelong, as he didn't want to be at the same club as Bomber.

Remember that Bomber had already burnt Gary Ablett and made him leave the club. Now apparently Mackie was set to go the same way.

The rumor was that he asked the club to trade him, and Hawthorn showed an interest.

Also, apparently, the reason it didn't happen was that Bomber left Geelong, and Chris Scott asked Andrew Mackie to please stay at Geelong. With Bomber gone, Mackie played out his career in the hoops.

mackie should of been dropped a month earlier. he was awful that year.

Lets keep to the topic here which is Crameri and his place in the 22. I get the KK references etc but im pretty damn sure Mackie and who he was or was not trying to bang 8 years ago has SFA to do with Crameri and the 22.

Move on.

Go Catters

Where are you Stewie?

Sooner this lad gets to play in the 22 the better
Will add some grunt and another component to attack
Crameri can kick, can mark and has a motor
Another strong body in the forward line who kicks goals will assist our forward work.
Hope it happens in one of our games against the sydney teams at geelong.
In fact, he is mentioned as IN THE MIX for this week
Bring it on

franklin cant kick straight either and kingsley was atleast as quick if not quicker.
I agree that Kingsley was underrated, but frankly, when he left and we started playing reliable kicks in front of goal like Chappy, Ablett, Johnson, Stokes etc, we turned our game around.
I liked Kent, I only wish he could have kicked Buddy's 70 metre goals.

Sad and frustrating career. Promising for the dogs in 2015 but kicked five behinds in a close elimination final loss.

Misses 2016 with the supplement ban.

Can’t get fit again.

Poor bloke. Fully fit has a role but will he ever be?

Probably not, good reasons why the Bulldogs didn’t offer him another contract. In my opinion saddest story to come out of the Essendon Drug saga, missing out on a premiership.
