But lacking match conditioning, strength and fitness. But don't get me wrong, he is the perfect foil to xerri.
l would like to see all of Comben, Logue, Finbar, Xerri Sellers and Larkey as our talls to somehow be fitted into the side..

Somehow?

That is lean for most AFL sides. Most teams have 2 forwards 2-3 defenders and two rucks.

As supporters, we have been so starved of KPP that we think that by having a couple of performing players in the VFL that it equates to some sort of gluttony.

We are still starving for talls.

Dawson is doing well enough to hold his spot atm yet while Corr is struggling he is still getting a place in the side so getting in the players l have said it still hard to do while they are playing...

larkey xerri comben are already in, logue is 3 months away, seller is soon.

Finbar atm, best hope scenario but he does fit the 2nd ruck type role.

We are and it’s really not good enough by the Football department to have got here.

He just had best on ground, including 10 coaches votes, playing CHF in the VFL. Seemed to run out the game just fine and kicked the goal that sealed the result. So apart from putting him in the wrong position and having no idea about his match fitness, good post!

BOG for vfl has almost zero correlation to good performance in the afl otherwise you wouldn't have the draft.

I'd prefer to play him after the bye rather than just risk him now aye

That answer has nothing to do with my post, and is fundamentally wrong.

Pretty much, all of our players are drafted. Most of them will play VFL at some point. The VFL is where players who aren't in the seniors can show whether or not they are ready to play seniors. Being best on ground, getting 10 coaches votes, taking 13 marks, and running out the game well, all suggest that he has plenty of match fitness and that CHF is likely to be his position.

Your post was rubbish!

Yeah his game a few weeks back was off the charts, but watching yesterday he is still extremely raw. He might struggle with good AFL level defenders, but he has some real weapons if developed properly.

Someone mentioned they had spoken to him and he himself said he wasn’t ready, so seems like a year at VFL level is most likely. Maybe a late season call up?
