I reckon this is brilliant. The media hounded him into an early retirement so now he's collecting a few extra shekels that would've otherwise been allocated to go to one of the flogs who most likely was part of that witch hunt. Didn't Slobbo recently get the Sars from Foxtel? Also Dustys Maori so that's a diversity hire tick towards Lara Kanes stupid commentary quota. Far better to hear from the Great Man than that African Immigrant chick who couldn't get a kick in a street fight that Ch 7 are grooming.
I'm tipping he'll be brilliant & wouldn't be surprised if him & Ralphy have planned this all along,. He's probably been stealthily working on his public speaking and presentation skills while refusing to play the media game. If deadsh1ts Fev, Jonathon Brown, Billy Heartless, Dougie Hawkins, Ling and bland Selwood & Cothin can earn a living in the media then there's room for Dusty. Hope he kills it like Kenny Powers.

The media muppets are fuming because they are fearful he’s gonna be great and show how easy their media gig really is.
But it’s still baffling to me how the media don’t get it. They keep harping on about how he should’ve given his supporters more and how he let us down with his silence. Don’t they understand Tiger fans don’t give a sh*t? We love he didn’t say boo just because they wanted him to. We love they gave media cretins who hounded him and his family the middle finger for 15-years. Our kids love him regardless as he delivered when it mattered and we have a lifetime of memories to show for it

He got 90,000+ to his 300th in a bottom team against Hawks in a twilight game FFS.
Pendles got 86,000 in his 400th against Carlton in a Saturday night fixture… with both teams playing for finals and top-4.
He’s been playing the media for fools for 15-years, and if he joins them as a commentator it’s the ultimate checkmate move after retirement… it’s friggin glorious!

A reminder … Dusty has a doco in the works with a crew following him since 2017. It’s called ‘Gold Dust’. The meeting yesterday ‘might’ have been related to airing that doco?
Maybe it’s a joint deal … commentary gig and negotiations on doco release exclusively on Foxtel / Binge / Kayo.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they wanted to get the doco out before he starts commentating in order to leverage his mystique.

I reckon it's more likely a one hour special doco with Dusty. Probably a couple of million $ in it for a he GOAT and Carr.
