Seriously hope some of the comments made this afternoon are in jest or sarcasm otherwise the mindset of some of you is worrying

so the rules were tweaked post the Hodge move to tighten the loophole for players to now still be able to just unretire themselves before list lodgement and move anyway?

That can't be right?
Is this rule officially written anywhere?

If he does this it just tarnishes him as a money hungry lying dog.
All the rubbish you hear about how much loyalty means to him, yeah right. Maybe his close friends, but mostly his hip pocket it looks.
Some here may say that he owes us and the club nothing, we'll that rubbish after everything the club and supporters gave him. If he had just come out when he finished with Richmond and said he needs a refresh and would look at his options going forward, it wouldn't have left the nasty taste this could end up being.
100% and they will tread out a bs pr spin that Dumma talked him around all the while it’s been planned all ****ing year , lying pack of campaigners

I wouldn't be so certain he won't find some sort of form.
He just pushed himself through to get to 300 to cash in on that. He might try and actually get his body right, particularly if he can get into a finals series in decent condition.
Unfortunately he was just going through the motions this year with us once finals were gone.

Sorry for intrusion.

Don’t reckon this will happen.

Honestly reckon Dimma has caught Dusty in a vulnerable state. He’s battled for form and fitness in a struggling side, he’s never really looked the same since his Dad passed. I don’t think he had his mind made up when he retired, just wanted to retire to take a breath, see how he felt and go from there.

If he gets to GC he will cruise through a year, enjoy the sunshine and wrap it up I reckon.

Dimma is cheeky dawwwg though.

If you want to look at it that way, which I'm sure plenty in here will be happy to do.
Perhaps some players were already upset when Mini missed out, I think a lot of the group were close to him.
I wanted mini over yze

You'd think his Manager Ralph Carr had played a part too.

It is relevant - player movements happen all the time.
Your the one missing the point, most on here are pissed at the apparent underhandedness and deception more so than the possible shift.

Dunno if you have a wife or girlfriend but if she looks you in the eyes and tells you she loves you but next day ****s off to the arms of someone else hope you will just shrug your shoulders and say “couples split up all the time”

It’s a curious thing that we all hope that players & coaches develop strong bonds because players have to be willing to bleed for their coach’s. Perhaps part of this is what we are seeing now? Some haven’t for whatever reason been able to establish that same bond with Adem?

Also once you develop that kind of bond also as a player you feel a strong bond/connection loyalty to that coach that’s difficult to replace? Dustin also having lost his father & often spoke of Dimma as a second father would also be feeling it too? As would Daniel having lived with him for 12 months is No small thing in my mind.
Just Sharing some of my thoughts but in the end I don’t really know with any certainty, can any of us?

What I do know is I won’t be forgetting the memories linked to those 3 premierships any time soon , very greatful… As I’m sure many others won’t.
