Who told you he hasn’t been sighted for a month? McClure, Morris, Cornes or Caro? I can’t believe you just slurp up what the media tells you in relation to Martin despite 15-years of hearing lies made up about him.

You’re the reason the media behave the way they do … slurp slurp and gobble up whatever they feed you.

The media lost their minds from 2017-2020 when we were successful … it was hard for them to handle. Now they are seizing the opportunity to try and get the club and supporters to turn on their own the way we did for 35-years which made them happy and content … and from yours and many others attitude towards our greatest ever player it’s clearly working a treat.

Going to put this one down as another problem driven by poor management.

Said last off-season, he wants out. Only reason it didnt happen last year was his massive contract. Club needed to offer him a 1-2 year extension that was generous & included a bonus at the end of contract if he retired a 1 club player. If he had not signed it by before free agency, they had to leak the details to put him & his camp in a umcomfortable, borderline intenable position to force the situationto a conclusion now, while securing the asset as a tradable piece. Otherwise, we are just going to have another 12 months of chaos & create a crap backdrop for Adem to start off his tenure.

So where are we as of today?

Instead, everyone wanted him to get to 300. Was the day worth it?

We are going to lose him for nothing. He is going to retire a Sun. And to our young group, they just watched our most influential player walk off our sinking ship & half ass his final $1,000,000+ year on his contract.

The club has honestly not made a right decision or hire since 2020.we have ballsed up every oppttunity we have had to gain a 1% here, there & everywhere

We all know it won't be talked about ...it's been going on for years....Mick Molloy asked the question and Laura laughed it off and fat shamed him ..imagine if that was the other way around you wouldn't hear the end of it .... ....Robbo mentioned it on his show and its been swept under the carpet ....Whateley will never touch that subject the piss weak campaigner .....the AFL is corrupt....the bullshit ARC decision v the Lions proves that ......the GAME is fooked !!!

What a load of crap. Whats the example of this?

In 2017 he visited other clubs facilties & he & his manager feinged interest of him leaving to squeeze every dollar they could out of his contract. How do you expect the media to cover it? He & his management pretended to be more invested on leaving for personal gain & the media reported it as being genuine. Thats Dusty & his managements doing.

Everything since then the media have likely reported on based on 'leaks' driven by varying different parties, but also his complete reluctance to speak to the media, clarify his position/motives, explain his actions, absences etc. If you like to live in the gray for tactical advantages & refuswle to speak to the media, then they are going to speculate. Im quite frankly tired of it. Its created so much distraction over the past few years & its bordering on selfishness at this point. Frankly, im surprised the media havent gone at him more. His recent absence also fits all the pieces that we now know to be exactly how the afl orders a play to sit out after failing a drug test

The reason he is "misreported" all the time is because of how he chooses to deal with the media/issues. It doesnt happen to any other players because most other marquee level guys understand the value if working with the media, not against them .

I watched him. Hard questions never asked on that podcast understandably as they work for the club. Talked about positives , but didn't address what's gone wrong , improvements need to be made , going forward etc.

Pretty sure it’s been explained to you before, but he’s finishing up at the end of 2024. Therefore, still in his usual role at the club, not that hard to understand, I wouldn’t have thought

Only thing he said was all the medical team is reviewed on a daily basis. See how it goes come seasons end.

As opposed to most injury destroyed clubs who sit on or near the bottom of the ladder late in the season, whose optics are normally so good.

The pressure is off, enjoy it, as that won't last for long.
