Like:
Jason Bennett - I think he's the best of 7's commentary team and I'm surprised he's stuck with doing the VFL and AFLW most of the year, I feel like he'd be much better to have as a main caller than Brayshaw or BT.

Though considering that Bennett was Fox Footy V.1.'s No 2 caller, it kind of just makes me miss Clinton Grybas and makes me think he probably would have been the No. 1 caller in the game on either Seven or Fox by now if he didn't pass away back in 2008. His absence is still being felt today.

Matt Hill - The man is a breath of fresh air in the commentary booth and is on the fast track to becoming one of Fox Footy's big names. Wouldn't be surprised if Fox pair him with Mark Howard in the future as one of their main teams.

Jason Dunstall - Has always been a great analyst of the game and is able to convey his thoughts in just a few simple words. In an industry full of people who now want to push their hot takes as big things and become "news makers", It's just nice to have someone who knows what he's talking about and just explain it. Though, He could afford to drop Bounce from his commitments. It really does make him look like a clown...

Nathan Buckley - I don't know if it's the Collingwood bias or not, but I really like the perspectives that Nathan brings to his commentary. I liked him at Seven back before he became the Collingwood coach, and I've loved what he's brought to Fox Footy's coverage. Able to articulate his knowledge of the game and his thoughts and opinions on things well while also giving credit and respect when it's due.

Dislike:
Sam Newman - even if at this point, He's just doing his podcast with a rotating door of co-hosts who leave when either Sam or the co-host have had enough. I'm just glad he's not a major part of the Football Media anymore. He just didn't add anything besides causing controversy. Plus his Smart-arsed, self-righteous personality always rubbed me the wrong way.

James Brayshaw - Seems to just phone it in when things aren't exciting and doesn't exactly do a great job when he's giving his all either. I swear he only has the spot he does because he's BT's buddy at this point. They've got Alister Nicholson or Jason Bennett they could be using instead...

Kane Cornes - Only seems interested in the hot takes he makes and trying to make himself the big deal. Most of his hot takes are just engagement bait and frankly, I've grown tired of it in general. He's just the main face of it in the AFL.

BT - How he is considered Channel 7's main caller is beyond me. I only rate him higher than Brayshaw because at least BT sounds like he's giving a crap most of the time unlike Brayshaw. He got the main commentator role because he was the best one Seven had left when Bruce and Dennis retired and that kinda tells you how bad their ranks were...

And I suppose if you need someone more relevant than Sam on the dislike list, I'll go Jonathan Brown. I don't dislike him as a person, seems like a nice guy and he's got his place in the football landscape, I just don't gel well with his type of personality in the booth. Don't know why, I've just never been that high on him as an analyst.

Corbin Middlemas (on abc): knows how to lead a broadcast and is really passionate both about the game (and essendon). while not an explayer/big name he really works well in the environment and has a good depth of knowledge and experience.
Cal Twomey: i feel like he's always in the know (especially with regards to essendon stuff) and has a pretty good perspective.

can't think of many others, but i guess i'll tolerate your luke hodges and some ex players (not jobe watson)

dislike:

most of channel 7's team. BT and JB especially. neither know how to call a game well and would rather spend their time wanking over shit that is irrelevant.
