I think he was unlucky to be suspended at the start of the year. He missed and Dow got his opportunity. Hopefully this year it will be Sonsie that gets a few games in a row in the midfield
needs to hit the ground running or likely he will have a plethora of better young talent passing him for the same positions he plays.
Needs to go about it like he has had a 3 year head start on these new kids otherwise he is in trouble. Can't have them out-working him on the track etc

exactly.. the rookie plates are off and he has to throw down with displaying the skills he possess or he's going to be run over and move back even more in the pecking order.

I see it, then can't see it,then can, then can't.
He really has to step it up a lot to not get passed by this year's draftees. But he should be ready, and there should be space in the midfield for him. Hope Yze gives him time to show his wares. It doesn't matter if tyler sucks this year. If we come last we get a great pick. If he crushes it we get a good mid. win win.

I don't know. Dow is a fine as part of a rotation. Just when he plays as the main man, he isn't.
I won't be surprised if both Sonsie and Dow are gonskies soon. But I wouldn't be surprised if both have a career of sorts with us, or another team.
If Sonsie gave as much of himself as Dow does he'd be a lock. Which is the most disturbing to me.
If we get Jagga then Dow is shot - Jagga is what a turbocharged version of Dow would be.
The only chance he reverses his form is if Morris really takes him under his arm and drums into him the need to be aggressive and hungry. Everyone has seen the skills then the decline, so maybe a switch can be flicked.
Dow finished off 2023 pretty well so edged in front of him coming into 2024, by season end Dow was gone. McAuliffe is probably in front of him now, but it's a long year. The new draftees will be there abouts but Sonsie will get a chance like Dow did last year. Our depth will be tested this year with 4 or 5 regulars gone and a few in rehab. If he steps up bonus, if he stays as he is no loss.
The reason we are where we are (besides Louie) is because we wasted draft picks on Sonsie & Dow. We really need him ti step up.

On exposed form we had to take Sonsie with our pick. He just hasn’t stepped up . That’s ok plenty of players don’t make it just move on
We wasted a lot more picks than those two, our development of young players under Dimma was pretty poor. Looking better with a string of them coming in and looking pretty good.
Dow we got a really good look at last year and he came up short, Sonsie not so much because for one thing he was played as a flanker, not his spot, so he wasn't really given a decent go, whether he deserved it or not I don't know. It's up to him to force his way in.
