How is saying its a different style to Hams underrating it? Judd is different to Hayes but each style has its benefits.

I'm just saying I'd have Sloane as one of the more manic and desperate attackers of the footy in the league.

In the 1 and a half games I've seen Hams play I haven't seen him hit the ball at pace and burst through a stoppage like Howlett which separates Howlett's inside work from Sloane's.

Emergency this week, obviously a fair bit closer than some of the posters on here give him credit for.... I'm looking forward to his debut, hoping its sooner rather than later!!

He's next to gleeson in the team photo and Marty dwarfs him, looks about 15

I was surprised at how big Gleeson actually is. He'll be be a tough cookie when he fills out. Hams looks like he'll be a similar build to Colyer.

Alot taller than I expected him to be from the first photo I saw. Was really impressed with what I saw pre season. Was lucky enough to sit next to Alex Browne in Geelong and he said "Kid can play. Joe Daniher aside, Gleeso is the pick of all the new kids so far and would play sooner than later"...Now, that was preseason, and I haven't followed him as much, but he is obviously reated within the club. I'm sitting on the bandwagon early.


PS...Would be very happy to se Hams debut this week in place of Merret, whos progress has been pleasing and surprising also.

I agree on Gleeson, I am very excited to see how he goes. Did not look overwhelmed in the NAB cup.
On Hams though coming off a quiet week in the VFL just the 6 disposals so may still be a few more weeks away.
