Agree Shorty is having a poor year by his standards - but he has significantly more runs on the board. Not sure what his best position in but I'd consider trying him on the wing or HFF.

2 Talls are enough and Lefau is just as effective with his 3 touches than anything Kosi has shown so far this year at VFL

It’s great to see this guy getting a crack. I would love him to really nail someone with a massive tackle or legal bump, just to put a bit of fear into the oppo
I think there’s plenty to work with , can take a nice mark and decent kick , really needs to tune in and learn leading patterns and importantly use that bulk ,,,I think he will be of more use running into space as he seems lost trying to bullock his way ,,,good luck kelti will be exciting to watch

Lefau would be useful in a team which is elite and challenge for a flag as he can just play a simple role.
In a rebuilding team you need to go more which he is just not equipped to do.

He's not using his body enough, someone needs to tell him he can and should be hitting the opposition hard at every chance he gets.

Was second for score involvements today with 7. In a super low scoring game. What do you expect from a 3 game player… be involved in 12 of our 15 x scores and not just 7? FMD. Tough school.

You have to give these guys time to:
A) adjust to the level, and
B) get accustomed to connecting with the players around them.
It is not like waltzing into our 2019 team like Marlion and you are the only new guy and everybody else can adjust to you. There are moving parts everywhere in our forward line at present. Lefau will learn, he will improve. We just have to wait to see whether he improves to fringe AFL standard, or whether he can nail down a full time best 22 spot or if he just never quite makes the grade.

Yea he prob is similar , has more pace tho which should help him. Looks like he’s trying to find a toothpick in a corn field when the ball hits the deck apart from that I don’t mind what I’ve seen and if we have any other options in VFL , pull the other one it plays jingle bells

needs to use more aggression when hitting packs and running at guys. This is where Townsend became a scary proposition.

I thought he was more aggressive yesterday and used he’s bulk a bit more which was good. With Lunch and Balta out keep persisting I reckon. I’d really like him to deliver a MASSIVE hip and shoulder (legal of course) on someone to announce his arrival (like what Stack did to Viney)
Yeah he has improved/increased his aggression since his debut, but still could do more damage I reckon. You can see when he nails those tackles that he is hurting blokes, just need to see more of it. He needs to be a wrecking ball.
