I've never actually seen anyone like Anthony.

He literally messes with the televised camera shots as he seems to be able to teleport the bloody ball to players not even in the frame a lot of times.

If he gets one tiny little sniff of space he cuts the opposition up like a scalpel, and those running snaps for goal. 😊

I must travel the 400 kms to see this phenomenon live soon. It must be freaky to watch live at the ground when he's on...

I was sitting directly behind the goals when he kicked that game winner against North Melbourne a few years back.
Can confirm, a freak live.

He looks quick on TV but in the fresh he is very quick and has the ability to control the ball in traffic and hardly ever looks rushed or panicked.

To play like he did after getting his head split open was absolutely outstanding. He looked incredible in the bandage too.

Would be so good if he could make AA this year.
You know they’re just going to shoehorn some overrated Richmond midfielder into the forward pocket instead though.

His story makes him all the more of a footballer.
Absolutely incredible what he's done, what he may be contributing to others seeing his journey.
Jane as well, absolutely incredible the man she has raised.

His form on the field is back to being his instinctual play which is the way it should be when you have a brain and instincts like he does. He was overcoached which made him second guess himself.

Will go down as one of our best players after it's all said and done.

AFL website quietly putting him in the conversation for his first AA jacket.

This season:
1st for goal accuracy overall (71.1%)
1st for goals among small forwards (27)
1st for goal assists among small forwards (13)
2nd for average score involvements among small forwards (6.9)

Since Round 6:
3rd for goals overall (18, after H. McKay 22, and B. King 19)

Across the season, the sixth-year Bomber has kicked 11.5 from snaps, with his other scores coming from set shots (13.3), on the run (2.0) and off the ground (1.1).

Hooker quotes:
"He's a player who just doesn't miss when he gets the ball, he gets the ball and he's going to do something good with it, whether it's at training or in a game."

"You can see the impact he has on games and we just love him down there and try and get the ball in his hands as much as we can, the more he's involved in the game the better for us … he's a special player."

Has to keep his footing more and stay involved in the game. 11 touches for the whole game isn't enough considering how actually damaging he is with ball in hand.
