Probably our player with the most weight on his shoulders on Sunday. Not because he's in our top few, but because if he clunks some and creates a contest, we get shots at goal or at least some decent forward forays, and if not, the ball goes to ground and they use their fleet of no name mid*ets (Chief you soft campaigner) to run, bounce and rugby throw their way up the field without resistance.

Gonna assume Larkey gets a bath from Jones too. No pressure, Brynn

Only game number 16 for the big fella, i thought he might have double that, going very nicely, can form a nice partnership with Xerri looking ahead.

Yes i would as should any supporter.

We are not flushed with ruck so it's in our club's best interest to maintain a decent depth for the ruck stock.

So after xerri and teakle, if not ccj, who else?

It's not beyond imagination to have xerri out for 15 weeks with a twisted ankle when slipping in the shower and teakle breaking an arm whilst doing his missus, who will be rucking for us if not CCJ?

We don't have a campell preuss laying around ready to go.

I'd like to see what sort of shit Teakle and Mrs Teakle get up to if that's the injury he's sustaining in that situation

if we were in a state where we couldn't run either of X or Teakle who can actually ruck you couldn't do any worse than running goad , will dawson or finbar rather than that other chump.

i know absence make the heart fonder but sheesh your memory must be toast if you still reckon ccj is a realistic selection,

maybe your blinded by this brilliance,

Underrated comment.
 
Teakle has some standout traits that he can take of advantage of while he continues to grow his all round game.

CCJ hasn’t shown much to date. However, he has played in some very uncompetitive North teams - which have made much better players also look like crud.

Next year, hoping we will be more competitive, should give us a better indication of what he’s worth /capable of.

He’s got another year - so good luck to him. We also have very little coverage in ready made ruck / relief ruck position.
 
I think what interests me isn’t that Teakle is better than CCJ. Is that CCJ could be replaced via the mid season draft. The concern is we could do that time and time again with about another 10 plus players.

Not sure what the answer is or how we beat the delisting ten plus per year

Braydon preuss is still on the list without playing a game for years. Tom Campbell still on saints list without playing a game for quite a long time.

ZD and EF need to be developed as gut-running wing/HFs over the summer (and in Zane’s case the next few off seasons).

In three years, this is what I would be expecting to have:

CHB:Dawson

HB:Goater Powell/????
W:Ford McKercher Scott
HF:Duursma Sheezel

CHF:Chom/Armstrong/Gerryn
F:Curtis Larkey Zurhaar

If he aint a ruckman then we train him into a forward, he can't be worse than pink or seller.

If delisting is all we can think about then we probably shouldn't get off the bottom of the ladder ever.
 
CCj I'm sure is calling bullshit as he'd be certain he could match that half of footy from Teakles.
