I am hearing good things about his mindset from a mate who works with a lot of the indigenous players in the west.
Apparently both hungry, and comfortable - just sore. The same mate told me Mozzie was unlikely to make it pretty early on.

Hahaha, I wouldn't call me ITK - I get very limited information. Hearing very good things about this kid though, they are extremely happy with how he is progressing on the track and he did look very good in match sim.
He has the raw tools to be one of the best in the game.

Long way from here to there though, so hopes need to be held in check.

I will say that I reckon the sudden shift to bolster our indigenous credibility & support has not happened just because we believe in it conceptually.. I reckon we know we have generational talent in the Daveys and Munkara and we felt an urgency to nurture them specifically.

Bit confused what is going on with this guy. Is he under a modified program or performing sublimely in match sims. And he wasn't mentioned in the injury report?

He's doing what a lot of young draftees do and come in under a modified pre-season program. AFAIK no draftee does 100% of the preseason workload so it's always managed to a degree depending on their individual fitness base coming in.

He's also got oodles of natural talent and I don't think there's any doubt as to whether he's got the ability to do the incredible at AFL level, just whether he's got the fitness to do it for four quarters across an entire season.

IF he can get the fitness base he'll be an outstanding player, much like how AMT always had that touch and ability to do things that few players can do, but had to work extremely hard to get his fitness base up to AFL standard.
