For what 5 minutes of the first qtr, emotionally charged teams always lose. Richmond back in the crap days used to turn up after a week of media bashing breathing fire, kick the first 2 goals and then lose by 60.

Lol read what I wrote upon impact Moores body dips. So what happens when taking a big mark and the knee smashes someone's head and splits it wide open? The bottom line is he wasn't hurt, played on for the rest of the match and that should be classified as low impact. And that's what we should be challenging.

I saw that stat. SO he couldn't have been put thru the concussion protocols...that would have used up more time than he had off the ground.

Yet in the same round - this happens

Higgins Hit - where a Higgins get the same whiplash effect and his head hits the shoulder and he ends out with concussion. They're saying it was from a marking contest earlier in the game, but having seen that contest, if Higgins got concussed from that he was some serious issues.

There is a difference one has a yellow sash the other one blue and white hoops

So Pickett gets charged with medium impact but Dylan Moore gets straight back up, no injury, no concussion and no free-kick either.
Jack Higgins was concussed by Kolodjashnij with the same action as Pickett, yet the MRO deems it not a reportable offence?

I don’t know Mate but 100% I read in a report that he went through a concussion test before being cleared to come back on the ground. Just checked and this was on the HS match report
“Hawks teammate Dylan Moore was assessed for concussion after copping a heavy knock in a shepherd by Richmond’s Marlion Pickett during the second term, but was cleared by doctors and returned to the field”

Yes, that's normal precautionary protocol, the fact he went back on means he got the all-clear and still played 120 mins of a possible 130 mins (92% time on the ground) Only 5 others played more.

OK i have now made the decision that Pickett shoulder does make contact with the head

I have a 86" tv and zoomed it all the way and can see his shoulder making contact with the left hand side of his face

I have decided it was low impact and Marlion can accept a $1000 fine and agree not to hit little boys that cry again

Yes i have slowed it down , Zoomed right up , put my glasses on and squinted my eyes
100% hits him in the face

also applied the hit calculator and comes up at 17lbs which is low impact

He should be reported for one weak for medium impact with his own shoulder.... they are the rules, you cannot hit high, even yourself
Pickett will get off, then be cleared by the tribunal
