He wasnt really out, besides only cost another thirty odd runs. Aus dropping five catches on the other hand cost substantially more.
45 additional runs in the partnership plus about 13 overs (10 of those with the new ball). It allowed Cummins to settle in too.

It's part of the we'll never know what happens next, but we're in front by 12 due to the eagle eye of the 3rd umpire.

Neither team has been able to deliver a knockout punch in any of the tests really. Each time a team looks like getting on top the other wriggles off the hook. Though we were saved by the bell last test. Been tense viewing.

Can see this one coming down to the wire. Chasing 270 and Murphy and Hazelwood needing to get the last dozen of them

Well we've been waiting 4.5 tests so far for it to be proven or fail. I really don't think we're much closer to an answer

Well I mean within 3 days they may be the first English test team to lose a home series in 2 decades. So even if it’s a draw it’s hardly been a revelation.

What I would really like to know, from people forecasting the scores in the 3rd and 4th innings, is how they have done the calculations, ie who the fu k is going to score what?

Or is it just the vibe?

The hysterical way Hadlee carried on over Brett Lee bowling at Piers Morgan was enough to convince me that he's a w@nker - well that and the fact he's also a Kiwi.:$
Thank god your Tasmanian and not representative of the. cricketing world…..or the civilised world come to think of it! 😆😆

Just based on the numbers we've seen all series. Haven't seen any massive 3rd or 4tg innings scores or any small totals either

No chance we win this.
England will score 300+ guaranteed.
We won’t be able to chase it down.
We are pathetic.
We’ve had so many chances to post a decent score in matches, and put ourselves in a winning position.

Freo won today.

Anything is possible.

So what's the max score you all think we could hunt down ? I'd say 250 is the outerlimits...
280. They are down a spinner (who doubles up as a no. 3 batsman) and their quicks all have miles in the legs. The first two sessions of our innings were under very cloudy skies, which should hopefully disappear for our second innings. This is still a flat wicket.

Ifs and buts I know, but if Carey holds on to the Brook chance then we have a notable lead. As it is, in spite of dropping five chances and a middle order collapse, we do have a slender lead.

So I should ignore your comment about him ‘demanding to be called Sir by everyone’ - because you weren’t really defending what you thought?

Okaaaay…….😏
Like I said I pushed it further because it was clearly a sore point for some f**king stupid tosser online who has the IQ of a cheese cake and the personality of a malaria ridden mosquito.

Your room must still be covered in his posters. Good for you for being such a loyal fan.

Batting is also Carey's secondary job. Despite the Brook drop, he's been fine in his main role.
I don't think many have a had a problem with his keeping.
But he still has to be scoring runs.

If you start missing a few chances and aren't scoring, that's when the pressure comes.
That shot against Root was dreadful.

And no, I'm not advocating for him to de dropped.
Just stating some facts.
