Really was a fantastic role player for our club and without him playing the second ruck role, we would never have won the flag in 2017. He was a brilliant runner and leader around the club. I know he'll be missed around Punt road and by supporters alike. A very unselfish decision to allow us to bring in another player. Speaks volumes of his character.

I was one of his doubters up until 2016, but that premiership year in the ruck was one where his body took a battering for us. He's in hen's teeth category now for the number of Tigers to have played in a premiership team in the last 38 years.Retire in peace Grigga and thanks for taking another selfless hit for the team.
