i was just coming here to make this thread...

anyways yeah seems alright, pretty much the same as go by the looks of it
a few old shows coupled with regualar airings of movies which is exactly the kind of channel i want to watch

on another note is it just me or has go become shit lately? seems like they're playing less of the classics/movies and just more regular channel 9 crap...

So this becomes their only HD channel? Wow. Fair enough they launch a third channel on their available spectrum and target spendthrift male demographic, but to make it their HD channel is stupid IMO.

Wonder when Nine and Ten will be launching their third channels. Ten was meant to launch theirs around the same time as 7Mate (ie light entertainment like 7Two and Go), but it has been postponed until early next year.

Nine's third channel is allegedly going to be a "greatest hits" channel, very siimilar to TV1 on Foxtel. Talk about a complete waste of bandwidth, but hey that is Nine for you.

Just seems like the same things they either play on Seven or 7Two. And the guy says that this channel will be more than just sport, well, what sport is there then? Nothing announced here.

Haha SJ, I was thinking exactly the same thing. And my opinion is still the same, ****ing terrible name.

I have no faith in commercial FTA nowadays though, don't think there is a show I watch on any of them outside of sport. Nothing will change it seems.

To me that doesn't sound right. Isn't 70 the HD Channel?
That means channels 7 and 70 are going to be exactly the same...
