Midweek Tackle had a bit on St kilda trade targets, put up four names and said they had hopes of getting three of them - LDU left as the one they aren’t.
I think we return serve and put a $1.1m offer in front of NWM.

Good player this blokeI think we return serve and put a $1.1m offer in front of NWM.
Cotchin??? Surely even mentioning that sniper is worthy of a day off. Cotchin, turn it upLike the evolution of Cotchin except LDU is 20 per cent more talented.
Back in the day someone on here called him a Lego Man head..Cotchin??? Surely even mentioning that sniper is worthy of a day off. Cotchin, turn it up

So we got caught once and I thought it was stiff. But I’ve noticed something that’s giving us an edge that will probably result in the odd 50. It’s very small in the detail but I genuinely feel like it’s intentional and worth the odd penalty.Seems to be a rule about standing on the mark
Can’t move then
But can if you are 5 metres behind
Happy to be corrected
They got done twice
Somebody called Bailey Fritsch "merkin" head on Sunday.Back in the day someone on here called him a Lego Man head..

SA clubs will give him 1.5 easyI think we return serve and put a $1.1m offer in front of NWM.
And so incredibly inconsistent in its application.
SA clubs will give him 1.5 easy
19.2 WHEN IMPOSEDI'm watching the replay now and I still have no idea what the 50 was for
They come in to take the mark quickly, but immediately start backing up to avoid the "stand" call. LDU was a bit overzealous and came in ahead of the mark.So we got caught once and I thought it was stiff. But I’ve noticed something that’s giving us an edge that will probably result in the odd 50. I think Clarko has got our players going to the mark initially then immediately requesting to the umpire to go outside 5m. By doing this the umpire never calls stand. As a result our players don’t move back the full 5m straight away. They do it gradually while also covering off the angles if the opponent is looking to play-on. The umpire doesn’t pay 50 because they never said stand, they said “outside 5”. And our player is doing what they asked, but doing it slowly while covering off those angles.
It’s genius. Watch the replay and you’ll notice it.
The whole rule is bloody stupid. I hate to see 50m paid for technical free kicks, it makes the game more about umpiring decisions than scoring goals from "football acts". The umpire should just set the mark, and the opponent can stand anywhere, as long as it's no closer to the player than the mark. If the opponent wants to stand at a 45 degree angle, 10 metres behind the mark, then that's their choice. If they cross over the mark, then it's 50 metres. That makes it less open to interpretation and inconsistent umpiring.So we got caught once and I thought it was stiff. But I’ve noticed something that’s giving us an edge that will probably result in the odd 50. It’s very small in the detail but I genuinely feel like it’s intentional and worth the odd penalty.

not the first person to have suggested that the announcement is going to be strategically announced - I hope it's true!Got a feeling LDU has committed and it will be announced in the lead up the the Good Friday game, generate a bit of hype. Not ITK just a vibe

19.2 WHEN IMPOSED
Where a field Umpire has awarded a Mark or Free Kick to a Player, or a Player is preparing
to bring or bringing the football back into play after a Behind is scored, a Fifty Metre
Penalty in favour of that Player will be awarded if the field Umpire is of the opinion that
any Player or Official from the opposing Team:
(a) has moved off The Mark;
(b) when in the immediate contest, unreasonably holds a Player after that
Player has Marked the football or been awarded a Free Kick;
(c) when not in the immediate contest, holds a Player after that Player has Marked
the football or been awarded a Free Kick;
(d) enters or does not make every endeavour to immediately vacate the Protected
Area, except when the Player is accompanying or following within two metres
of their opponent;
(e) has not returned the football directly and on the full to the Player awarded the
Mark or Free Kick;
(f) engages in any conduct which delays or impedes the play; or
(g) engages in any other conduct for which a Free Kick would ordinarily be awarded
Pretty sure it was (d). He wasn't in the protected area, until he entered it by coming in from the side ahead of the mark. Probably part of the strategy Marksup identified above

Comms people are weird, they may convince him it will help.I don't think LDU is the kind of bloke who would be okay with his re-signing taking away from the Good Friday appeal.
Then he would have resigned and announced it by nowI don't think LDU is the kind of bloke who would be okay with his re-signing taking away from the Good Friday appeal.
Dunno where I heard it but rumour was hes wanting to go back to SAI doubt it....
He's getting as much as LDU and TDK.
Not likely imo.
He's a good player but Adelaide will be conscience of their cap in the next few years and Port have brought in quite a few in recent years.
