Was a slowish burn but since Parker and Powelly stepping up as a full time mid, it’s like he finally has time to work on the defensive side of his game and let these other boys do some of the lifting.

Was categorised as the next Judd when we drafted him, hopefully we start to see it

Best game? He had a massive impact but last year against Richmond he had 33 disposals, 3 goals, 3 goal assists, 8 clearances in a 13 point win.
Yeah, there’s some revision going on here.

He’s had multiple better games over the last 2-3 years.

LDU is my favourite player on our list.

He's been shit this year; barely fired a shot and can't find the footy.

It will only get more difficult for him in the next 2 weeks with a likely Jordan tag vs. Sydney and then a Hewett tag vs. Carlton.

Has to step up and put in a match winning performance in the next few weeks because he's been sub-par so far to put it kindly.

Below average against the dogs, huge impact last week and Adelaide sacrificed Dawson to sit on him yesterday.

We need other to step up take some attention away.

Didn't rate him vs Melbourne?

I felt he was good without being great - definitely his best game this year but as nice as some of his touches were, 23 touches isn't enough.

He averaged 27 last year and that'd be the baseline for me.
His share of centre bounce attendances has trended downward from last year.

Averaged 82% of CBAs last year.

Only 75% this year.

He's basically got the same ToG as last year though, suggesting he's spending a bit more time resting forward at the moment than he used to.

Yep.

Is starting in the goal square at times.

Luke Davies-Uniacke (North Melbourne): Has a seven-year deal in front of him from North Melbourne, and he is expected to remain at the Kangaroos. However until his decision is announced, he remains a wildcard.

Heard today has already signed with Hawthorn (not to be taken as 100% gospel) although I did hear it at a very random place (practice facility at RMGC) which is concerning.
Did that same person tell you he just got a hole-in-one that day too?..

I personally prefer - and I think the team would agree that - seeing him sacrifice six or so touches, while still maintaining clearance, metres gained, score involvements and goals, WHILE adding more defensive edge, tackles and pressure acts is so much better for our team.

It’s up to the supporting cast to find consistent collectively as a group to support the crowning jewel of our midfield. I don’t think between Sheeze, Parker, Powell and Phillips, that any of these players have consistently backed up their performance over the first three games to allow our best player to take a sword to the opposition. We need them to.

Yeah and he shot that 59 with left-handed clubs he borrowed from a mate even though he's naturally right-handed..
The best part is that the hole in one wasn't even his best shot, the Albatross or as they call it now the double eagle on the 17th, drivable par four where he hooked it, only for the 20km wind to bring it back into play, hit one of the branches near the green, land twelve feet past the hole and with amazing backspin came back like a Mack truck in reverse and fell into the hole! :flagstick: :winkv1:

They must have their own specially inflated Salary Cap down there at Dingley then, given they picked up Barrass and Battle during the last trade period and are also talking to Oscar Allen.
