Does anyone know where official 90s AFL club membership figures can be found?

I've tried contacting the AFL but have got nowhere.

Figured someone on this board would know. Would appreciate any info at all.

Sure, you could make an argument for a higher population and a more engrained 'membership mentality,' but GWS and Gold Coast are doing well. Teams getting flogged, in their first two seasons, in smaller markets, and they've hit 10k already?

The Swans sustainable support base came from their GF appearance in 1996. I believe the same will happen to GWS once they make a grand final, but until then it will be tough going.
