I am just trying to balance the view out there that Geelong are a great team.

I think Geelong are nothing and have for years. They are flat track bullies, who shit themselves when they confronted a team willing to push the limits.

what is this geelong team ? well they have achieved the gretest ever win grand final win in afl history and pulled of the greatest season of all time.However they are not yet great as they only have won one premiership.

I still think as high of this geelong side as i did 12 months ago.All great sides lose GF just look at the lions and even the mighty hawk side of the 80's even look at the australian cricket side which lost the 95 world cup final.

the reality is once you win a premiership you lose some of the hunger and the intensity, dont forget the lions only beat the pies by 9 points in 02.Yes hawthorn played at a very high intensity in 08 but geelong played at a even higher intensity in 07.Lets see the itensity level that hawthorn play at know that they all have a premiership under their belt
