No one knew what had happened and it looked a mighty late reaction and big dive.. On the replay you couldn't see anything happen either on those clear screens at aami ;)

Still yet to explain why he was being booed when he was running to the bench and was clearly injured.

Keep knitting and stay class Crows supporters.

btw Doughty=Judd. Thought you guys would like that comparion :)

The crowd were fired up and just kept going.. I didn't even notice he was running to the bench until he was pretty well over there.. But you carry on your little voyage ;)

Re the Doughty comment, i love it.. Judd just doesn't quite have the football ability of Doughty though..

I don't know, maybe because your team is renowned for diving and they thought it was just another academy award performance? We've seen Wangas, both Cornes doing it for years and more recently Carlile, Trengove and Pearce so we know you're good at it. I wasn't near the incident but I did think oh what a tosser which was before I realised he was injured. But seriously, are you telling me if Tex fell to the ground clutching his face with that kind of contact your supporters wouldn't be giving him shit?
^ Anger Management... that you Sandler?

Crazy ironing that Primus was the one wishing injury upon the tall Crows players in the presser the other day, to help him out in winning..

Then he lost one of his talls..

Maybe he should stfu in the future with comments like that ;)

No one needs to justify anything. It was a blurry incident and some crows supporters thought it was just another port playing taking a dive. Seriously, you guys are getting desperate now.

Blurry incident? Is that some kind of pun? How is someone running to the bench, clearly injured holding their eye 'diving'

If some Crows supporters thought slowly jogging off of the field holding his eye in the hands of trainers a minute after the incident when it was abundantly clear there wasn't going to be a free kick paid was just staging, then said Crows supporters are morons. If not, then they're scumbags who boo injured players.

People boo if they are displeased with something, so with that in mind were we were booing because we were disappointed that he was injured ?

I dont get it

Don't know about others... But I just got a mental image of Matty furiously getting the wrinkles out of his shirts.

I heard some scumbags give a bronx cheer in the past when players are injured, but never heard supporters booing because they were scumbag supporters who were happy someone was injured.

The booing started when Schulz collapsed to the ground. I think you'll find the resson some were booing is because he made such a big song and dance about it, after the slightest of touches. He certainly did fall as though he'd been shot.

Now answer me this, if Tex fell down like a sake of shit, arms flailing in the air after such slight contact, do you think Port supporters would have booed?

And I'm sure that if you were poked in the eye severely enough to make it bleed you'd stand there and take it like the champ you are.

Big song and dance? Arms flailing in the air? Don't think you're making it more dramatic than it was. Fact is he was still being booed when he was coming to the bench when he was clearly injured. After reading this thread I guess your mob find it acceptable to boo players coming to the bench after they've been injured. Eye poking is acceptable at West Lakes then, thanks for clearing that up.

I don't know why you keep trying to compare it to a situation you're making up in your own mind but I'm sure if it was the same incident that had happened to Walker he wouldn't have been booed once it was clear he was injured and was going to the bench.

if Rory Sloane went down and stayed down holding his face, I would not be calling him soft and playing for a free. Because unlike some, I know a little about the opposition and know that Rory is a tough nut and doesnt play like that.

Now if it was Steve Johnson or someone like that, you could forgive the opposition fans for thinking he was faking it.

Schulz fits into the "no frills, no games, what you see is what you get" category of tough footballers, and the fact that crow fans even contemplated he was faking it, shows how little they know about their cross town rival. Its that ignorance which is shown constantly week in week out day in day out in port fans interactions with your average crowie, that leads to the perception that the average crow fan is clueless about football

Walker got offerred a reprimand for the hit on Surjan you Port flogs. Now go have a cry about that :D
