And Ivy League colleges giving students days off to “grieve”. Some of the hysteria is laughable and no wonder many of this younger generation are snowflakes. Just way too many examples out there of the left throwing the toys out of the cot having a tantrum that their idiot candidate lost.
Not to mention these zeros, late night hosts literally crying on air about the election being terrible night and the rest. No wonder mainstream media is just about dead. Despite having all of these morons doing the Democrats bidding they still got smashed rofl. Truly embarrassing that they can’t accept that the majority aren’t interested in their BS rhetoric.
They're not going to accept this result. I watched something Gavin Newsom put up today and they're already talking as if they still have the higher ground.
All the polling stations in the swing states were heavily scrutinised this time around. 10 million votes didn't materialise.
Trump doesn't get sworn in until January 20 so the pile on is just starting.

Sam Harris absolutely despises Donald Trump but IMO in the first 20 minutes or so of this opinion piece nails why the Democrats lost the election, with identity politics, gender madness, DEI, the border in front of grocery/petrol prices, in other words cultural issues.
The 2nd half of the Podcast he reverts to type and paints Trump as the next Hitler(doomsday is nigh), it seems Sam and some others on the left have forgotten that Trump has already had 4 years as President and he didn't exterminate 6 million people in ovens or attempt to become a global overlord.

IMO the sizeable majority of younger generations are not into the extreme wokeness world(my eldest grandchildren are boys ages 17 & 19).
The "snowflake" cultural issues are pushed by a very noisy and perpetually offended minority who love to be offended on behalf of others, all abetted by some condescending virtue signalling people in politics/media/academia.

I don't even think Trump is that right wing. Not on all issues at least. Certainly his protectionist attitudes towards the Ukraine and Israel wars couldn't be characterised as right wing. Nor would his intentions to tariff the fúck out of everybody.
If anything I'd suggest he's destroyed the Democrats with what basically amounts to a pincer move, outflanking them at multiple extremes of the political spectrum.
Conservatives getting their high horses over the way the left handles an election loss is the ultimate wtf.

I agree with you re the extreme on the right..... and the left, as I posted earlier the extreme on both sides is very small IMO, it's just that in this day and age of saturation 24/7 MSM and social media coverage the extremes get all the attention and the perception is that extremism is rife and bigger than it actually is.
At a complete guess I would say under 3% on each end of the spectrum are extreme LW/RWNJs and the 95% just want to get on with their lives and live and let live.
