If I recall I told you what was going to happen the day after they tried to knock him off. The election was basically over then. You're still in denial.
The reason the late night hosts and the celeb shills have gone off their rocker is because RFK has promised to cut out all pharmaceutical advertising. That has massive ramifications for the networks. And the press. The free ride will be over.
Trump is on the verge of becoming a significant political and cultural figure in history. The neocons are gone. There are going to be economic and social shockwaves beyond a lot of people's imaginations
I'd say he'll shoot for the Nobel Peace Prize . It's just a shame Putin shot up many of the electricity installations in Ukraine because it's going to be a tough cold winter there and Putin will fancy his chances of grinding them into the ground without a negotiated settlement.
The only thing that could go wrong is if they have another shot at Trump and you couldn't rule that out because there are massive consequences at stake. The last Secret Service chief resigned in disgrace after refusing to answer questions at the Congressional hearing. I wonder if the next one wants to risk going out the same way.
Interestingly Trump is intending to release all of the files on the two Kennedy assassinations, The Epstein brief with the upcoming P Diddy trial the icing on the cake. So I'd say some powerful and high profile political and entertainment figures are going to find out what the real truth feels like.
The US lost its soul when JFK was assassinated and the truth and an understanding is what the country needs for something it's never gotten over.

No, I’m not talking extreme right.
I’m talking the likes of Peter Dutton, and many in the Liberal party. Today’s mainstream Right. Donald Trump and Elon Musk, etc.
If you have a choice between a Teal candidate or a Liberal candidate and you find your personal beliefs align more with the Liberal party politics, then you’re too far right and you don’t have balanced view of society.
I don’t know where extreme left begins for me. Much of the stuff you, martinson and McIvor hold up as wrong on the left side of politics almost never comes across my SM feeds, unless you guys having a go at Left politics.
That’s the type of stuff you have to go looking for, to then be offended by it. Or for the SM you follow to use as criticisms of the “left”.
To shake my head at the right, all I’ve got to do is listen to Dutton or Trump on the news, or read one of Musks posts on X (twitter).
You don't even have to go looking for it or have to go very far to be blown away by what society has become in recent years with the entitled virtual signaling, jamming wokeness down your throat, being told there are more than two genders, pronouns, no scoring in junior sports, parents having meltdowns at schools for daring tell their children off and on and on it goes and then follow a sport (AFL) that has gone down such a ridiculous path under the current administration that are all 'left aligned.'
Give me any of Dutton, Trump or Musk any day over Generation Zero trying to educate us all on whatever it is that riles them up with the faux outrage.

The neocons are gone. He didn't expect to win in 2016. He had no real idea how Government worked and how difficult it was to get things done. He was surrounded by career bureaucrats and old guard neocons who just wanted jobs. Plus the Russians did it.
This time it really is different . He's got a whole new lot of people who know how to get things done . They have a mandate. He has massive public support. He's got conviction.
It'll be a whole new ballgame , in the electorate and within his administration.
So let's see if he's just another hot air artist or whether he can deliver on what the people voted for.
Whether you like it or not he's talked the talk ,the biggest headwind will be the stockmarket which has reached nosebleed levels and if it cracks and a recession comes then he's going to have problems.

You swallow everything you want to hear. The market's been on a tear ever since he got shot. It's been overreaching for 2 months .His polling was the opposite of what the friendly media were putting up right until election day. Harris ahead in Iowa and neck and neck everywhere else. It was a lie . They tried to con the people that it was a contest for political purposes.
They've hit him with every conceivable lawsuit in friendly jurisdictions for whatever they could conjure up and then when that didn't work they took a shot at him.
He's the most resilient person I've ever seen in public life.
There were significant irregularities in 2020 that didn't occur this time. Which is fortunate. This is a hugely high stakes game because if he gets in and does what he says he's going to do there are significant ramifications worldwide economically, geopolitically and even socially.
It's starting to dawn on his many opponents.
I'm wondering with interest how it'll turn out.
My definition of the loony left are people who want open borders, biological men in women's sport, surgery/puberty blockers for children, collective guilt of racial groups for sins of the past, everything being viewed through the prism of race and not need.
Not sure where I fit on the scale but some of my views are.
1- Strong borders with controlled immigration that benefits the country.
2- Abortion rights, however there should be a line somewhere around the 3rd Trimester where it is only legal if the mothers life is in danger.
3- All for same sex marriage and adoption rights/IVF rights for them, however churches should not be forced to conduct ceremonies but they should be free to if they want.
4- Gun control somewhere between the free for all they have in the USA and our version which I don't mind at all if that is where it fell.
5- Adults should be free to do almost anything they like as long as they are not hurting or have definite potential to hurt anyone else.... NOT talking about hurting feelings.
6- Absolute free speech with some specific exclusions which are already covered by law eg. calls for the killing of someone.
7- Decriminalisation or legalisation and strict control of certain currently illegal drugs eg. Psychedelic drugs.

I worked out with my kids how to get an A+ in their Legal History essays at Melbourne Uni. There was only one bent to take and that was to tow the bash colonialism line. Stray off that and you got marked down. Sadly they got indoctrinated so much they're still rabid leftists but they'll grow up one of these days.

I do know all about it because I hear it regularly in my discussions with average people and interestingly from idle well off people.

How about trans men even being allowed to and then get to compete in womens' events? Sure, I have to go looking for that stuff. Virtue signalling is everywhere, so is the faux outrage everywhere. Again, am I looking for it? What about in AFL land in the past 18 months and there constant virtue signalling and woke crap; again am I looking for it?
Mainstream people are the ones jamming this crap down our throats everywhere in society in recent years. Its ot nothing to do with a news cycle. Have you seen the ABC or SBS news. JC; they constantly peddle leftist ideology and their reporting on the US election proves that. For those in the US, CNN, CBS, NBC, NY Times, Washington Post is in a lot of US people's lives, again full of leftist ideology and crap such as people can identify as what they want and yet despite all of that, they still couldn't get thier girl over the line and in fact, she lost in just about every category.
Clearly the US have just reacted woke, virtue signaling leftist nonsense in a resounding way and aren't afraid of the cancel culture, moral high ground mentality that exists and there is a massive undercurrent I think brewing in Australia too.
Just as an interesting sidepoint when Bezos refused to let the Post ( which he owns ) take an editorial position supporting Kamarla ( but without supporting Trump) it caused a furore over there. Because the Post and its journos have been leftists for decades.
Of course being a tech guy he knew that Trump was going to win and wasn't going down that path. So Editorial Board members and some lesser journos resigned .He killed 2 birds with one stone because he didn't have to pay them out.
But to the broader point journos resigning because the paper has no editorial stance makes you realise what type of vitriol they'd been putting out all along. Which they were allowed to do. I think they thought the Washington Post was the China Daily.
And just to round out this jovial discussion to those who think I'm a right wing nut by way of explanation I was completely ambivalent about this US Election because whoever got in is facing significant headwinds.
Until Trump got shot. The desperate boldness of how that was engineered and the embarrassing attempts to sweep it under the carpet made me think Trump must be a person of substance and not as he's been portayed. Because every US political figure who has been assassinated or attempts thereof made has been popular and a person of substance.
Then when the Dems came up with Kamarla who I remember being mocked at the 2020 Primaries because she was a total lightweight and couldn't muster a single vote that was it for me.
To round it out I listened to Trump ,Vance and Musk on the Rogan podcast. It's hard to fake a lot in a 3 1/2 hour discussion where you talk substance and all kinds of shit. I thought these guys particularly Vance , have a clear idea of the past and how they see the future. So like the nearly 80 million voters who got sucked in and hoodwinked I was on board. I never got more than a few ra ras at conventions and some celeb love ins from the other mob.

Yer, I'm a regular watcher of Joe Rogan Podcasts and watched those 3 as well, Rogan cops it from the left but he is a tremendous conversationalist and also a deep thinking compassionate man... he is nowhere near the meathead the left paint him to be.
Just because he hunts for his own food(usually Elk with a bow and arrow) and is into healthy eating and exercise doesn't make him unintelligent.
On another note I watched JD Vance's life story movie on Netflix ie. Hillbilly Elegy after the Rogan appearance, quite a good watch, he had a pretty rugged childhood, great accomplishment to get to where he is now considering his upbringing.

I'm not a supporter of any side of politics but the people of the US have spoken. I have observed massive shifts in societal 'norms' the past decade and whilst there has been some goods I feel there is too many bads. At least I believe focus should have been elsewhere. But I also come from the POV that the West is ****ed and honestly what is going on today won't have much importance over the next 20-30 years. There will be so many bigger fish to fry.
The West once the pinnacle of the ideal 'way of life'. It's gone and unfortunately a lot of the leftist popularity policies have just accelerated the economic decline. Trading out easy political wins now, for a world of pain in the long term. Opening the gates for migrants and not deporting illegals (who often bring their problems on shore) without the appropriate infrastructure/services in place to support this is just completely detrimental to a society. There isn't a case where mass immigration of unlike minded populations has ever resulted in a beneficial outcome. Check out Europe...
Anyways as stated above... Good luck once China decides to flex it's muscle. We are ****ed.
