Our 10 year anniversary top could be used as our permanent top (Either for the remainder of the season or the start of next season) if we the fans demand it! Great news. Also as of today the top is on sale to the public. The first batch have already sold out and the club have now asked Kappa to produce more.

I disagree. The 10 year shirt has a lot of red in it, whilst adding the other traditional SA colors!
I was always a fan of our NSL top and this one looks almost identical.

Just reading some old NSL articles,stats etc.. and came across this season. The last NSL season, but for us our inaugural season. Check out the attendance figures. Whilst the majority teams were struggling to get over 3k fans, Hindmarsh got atleast 12k + every week.

I went to a couple games that year after never even contemplating it before. Amazing atmosphere which we have struggled to repeat in non Victory games or finals. If we could get back to those days it would be great.

Yes atmosphere back in 03' was amazing. I always loved the song. 'C'mon boys make some noise we're a team of class and poise and our Adelaide is rolling along'.
I wonder why the crowds have decreased over the years?? I really don't buy into the whole 'fans don't go to the game because of management' etc.....

Some do, I know a swathe of people that have stopped going for this very reason.

Still...I doubt thousands of people wouldn't attend for that reason. Maybe a few hundred but not thousands.

Just saw 7 news and Gombau said that we're not title contenders this year but will be next year.

Much like the Victory last year itll take a long time to adapt to a completely new style but i tend to think hes just lowering expectations. Cockerill just mentioned our fitness is providing massive concerns here in Adelaide. I agree, too many so early in the year.

My junior coaches always had the same philosophy. Its about how you play, get that right and results come. Think some of what he says gets lost in translation a bit.

Playing simply to win, in this day and age, is far too short term.

Josep trying to establish a style that will be emulated by future successors is the more sensible way to go.

I reckon Jeronimo is a chance to play.

Heard a rumour a few days ago, the MLS side the New York Red Bulls are in talks with the SA government to play a game at the new Adelaide Oval in February.

Don't know who they will play but I suspect Adelaide United.

Anyone else know anything about this?

Heard a rumour but dismissed it. Would be good to see one of the big US sides down here though.
