Today is positivity day. The Bulldogs are here to feel our frustration. I do expect a win tonight. On the injuries and the comments by Burton if you are offended let the club know in person. They shall be at the ground to hear your voice

I've actually got a surprisingly good feeling about tonight. We don't often put in 2 bad games in a row, in fact after every loss this season we've generally come out breathing fire the next week.

Essendon Loss: Richmond Win
Collingwood Loss: Sydney Win

I think we need a few senior players to stand up though. Sauce, Eddie, Lynch, Douglas and Talia. Cant leave it up to the Greenwoods and CEY's to lead the team through it!

We have enough senior players to get it done tonight, but they'll all have to play very well.

Dogs away record is terrible, their wins have been against garbage opposition, and they aren't exactly playing with their best 22........ but we are scraping the bottom of the barrel.

Crows by 17 with 4 injuries to be announced next Wednesday

Last week we finished the game with "no injuries".

Except Jacobs and Tex had back and glute soreness respectively.

Except McGovern had a head knock, and then had an ankle sprain and got ruled out for 2 months

Except M. Crouch and Brown were both too sore to play the next week

Except Tex had some hamstring soreness and now needs a mini pre-season

Except Knight's hamstring soreness got worse from not playing

Can't even hope to finish a game with no injuries any more

Looking forward to the pre-game foot long chilli and cheese kransky at AO.. and.. that's about it.
Going be crappy weather and the game is going to be a grind of two poor teams. Crows by 7..

Defeinitely this. Leaders must stand up.

The injuries are poor but the players coming in are no chumps.

Hartigan - a best 22 defender
Gibson - touted as one of the better defensive mids in the game. Welcome to the AFC.
Murphy - Showed a real spark earlier this year.
Fog- We all want to get as many games as be can.

I think we will miss Brown the most out of all of the outs. M Crouch has not been himself since coming back from his last hammy. Probably brought back too soon. CEY and Greenwood have stepped up inside as Crouch has played more if an outside role.
We will miss Tex's leadership and inate ability to kick important goals.

A bit like Gov. Take away his clutch goal last week and he basically did nothing. I still think he struggles when we have the full forward line ie Tex, Jenkins, Eddie and Lynch. But he is important in a tight game.

I believe these guys can be covered. And to a certain extent have been struggling a bit over an entire game. Yes Tex and Gov kicked key goals last week but overall they spent long periods of the game missing.

But Brown. The Doggies have some good small forwards. That is where they could hurt us and Brown is the best small defender in the comp. Him being out is a real concern for me. This is where I see the Doggies being able to exploit our lack.of best 22 players. Especially in the wet.

I am hoping for a gutsy win... wont be super pretty... but all we need is to concentrate on 4 points and NOTHING beyond this...

At the moment anything beyond tonight and 4 points will continue to remain a Mystery. We cant get players right... and the club is not being transparent so.. who knows...

My thinking for 2018 is play tonight like its our last game on earth with whichever bloke suits up..

Nothing is predictable with the Crows list this year... we are a cobbled together composite list...

Are we at the stage yet where i have to put my hand up to play?
I decided to wear my long sleeve guernsey tonight just in case.

Will probably stand near where the coaches walk to get to the ground so might ask Pykey if he needs me....

It'd be nice to think that the group could mentally grind out a win here like the Sydney game but even that night we still had Tex, Gov and Brown. It'll take a pretty gallant effort from the whole 22 to win tonight, based purely on the quality we have out.

The Dogs haven't set the world on fire and travel poorly, but they're fielding their best side for quite a while.
