Let's address these comments as though they were made by a sane person, just for a moment, shall we? OK.
"Players bailing out left, right and centre." - Well, that's true, but that's still only three players, isn't it. One left, one right, one centre; Sherman, Brennan, Risky telly. 2nd round pick, first round pick, end of first round pick.
"thin on upcoming talent" - LOL Crazy boy. Three nominees for the Rising Star this year, as well as winning it this year, says otherwise. Our 2008 drafting was exceptional: Rich (RS winner), Rockliff (RS nominee), Redden (RS nominee), Banfield (RS nominee) are all very, very good young players. Add to them Leuenberger, Clark, Harwood (2009 selection), Cornelius, Polkinghorne, and we're hardly "thin on the ground", are we? LOL thanks for brightening up my day by allowing me to rape you with that respnse.
"senior players all worn out" - riiiiight.... I think you'll find a lot of people are "worn out" at season's end, only to be "rested", then "recover", and "play the following year".
"membership continuing to spiral downwards" - actually, we AGAIN surpassed our previous years tally this year for members, have done that a few years in a row now. So, just wrong.
