Chiefs screwed me in HS and Seattle in ND. What a horrible week!

Looking at the week ahead if the Chiefs had got over the line would of been confident of extending a long streak!

Swagger in ND comes in all types... last season, Steelers fan, Gridiron Warrior was 46th (AE record) on the CR standings after Regular season completed, pushed Sven all the way, from the Wildcard. Once upon a time, even GG.exe had swagger, coming from (24th) to reach the inaugural ND SB.

HOT STREAK UPDATE

The New York Giants. Unrest was building. The 49ers won their first game at the expense of the Giants last week and New York wasn't a happy place. Rumblings that coach Ben McAdoo had lost the team were becoming more frequent. The OBJ-less offense was in reverse and they were coming up against the Kansas City Chiefs who started the season on fire and were in the AFC playoff mix. Surely a gimme.

That's what most Hot Streakers thought. While most of the leading bunch took a measured approach only adding the occasional early game to boost their streak by a couple of tips, the lure of the Chiefs was too tempting to avoid.

44 tipsters put their faith in the Chiefs. PHX was the only one who backed Big Blue.

Good news was that the Giants only scored 12 points! Bad news was the Chiefs only scored 9!

The Chiefs loss ended the streak of competition leader crowman_23 whose streak ended at 24. balmainforever had his streak end at 20 danielz_23 and bgt2110 saw their streaks end at 18 and after the carnage only one man stood tall at the top of the leaderboard : fuey
He avoided that game and now heads the active streak leaders with a streak of 19. Phx on the other hand couldn't capitalise, bombing out on the Broncos.

'Skins getting all the LOVE in the third Thanksgiving game with just smiths missing out = Road team G-Men at this stage.. Smiths already utilised mulligan so if full no show = lowest score penalty. Luckily no impact on ND play-offs implications.

24 have 'Skins High CR. AE Leaderboard Committee went more conservative on LAC@Dal game with 13-3 CR count for a LAC 4-2 vote. Game 3 has the Leaderboard posse averaging 7CR on 'Skins.
'Skins getting 43 Hot Streak votes of approval but none amongst the leading bunch.

Wk12 Thanksgiving Day wrap:
Overall, the AE consensus feasted on the final results but unfortunately the majority (65%) didn't digest their servings of CR points on offer except for the dual AE major champions, Island Bomber and SodaPop who didn't hold back. The early game seemed destined for a blow out as the in-form Vikings went 20-3 up late in the first half but the Lions responded within 30seconds with a big pass play and DPI call to get the Lions within 10 at the main break.
The Vikings opened up the second half with steadfast play calling that relied on their underrated running game to push the lead out to 17 again. But the Lions kept hanging around with three consecutive scores on their next three drives to pull in within 4pts early in the last Q after Marvin Jones eclipsed two defenders to make a grandstand catch and end zone visit to get the home fans off their seats and excited. Fast fwd to over 4min remaining: Vikings were facing a 2nd and 14 in their own territory but a Stefan Diggs play for 37 yards turned the game momentum on it's head as the Vikings got inside the redzone, forcing the crusty Lions HC, Jimbo Bimbo Caldwell to panic and burn two time outs as the Vikings added a FG to make it a 7pt game.
The Lions got possession back with adequate time remaining (3:42) but on their fourth play, facing a 4th & 7 in their own territory, Stafford was intercepted by Xavier Rhodes to seal victory as the Vikings run out the clock and control the NFC North.

The second game was predominately dominated by the Chargers who should of been ahead by more than 3-0 at HT. It was another abysmal second half from the Cowboys who are heavily reliant on their controversial RB Zeke Elliott who is suspended. In the end, it was the Phillipe Rivers and Keenan Allen show as they lit up Jerry's house with their own fireworks (read: career games).

The final game was a lacklustre contest that needed a sting after Redskins went 10-3 up in the third Q. That sting was a tipped pass from Kirk Cousins which fell into the dangerous hands of CB Janoris Jenkins , who bounded along the sideline and then crossed centrally to lunge over the goal-line to make 10 all. Game On!! Nervous times for those 43 who included the 'Skins in their Hot Streak. The G-Men couldn't put a drive together going 3 & out in two consecutive possessions. With a series of calamity play-calling by the Redskins, they finally got to make two connecting pass plays with purpose which resulted in Kirk Cousins second end zone strike with over three minutes remaining.
G-Men tried to repeat their 4th down stunt from last week but Eli Manning was sacked!! Game over. A FG sealed the result.
